Minnesota Twins with Wade Boggs - A Day's Work

Wade Boggs and SB Nation have teamed up with Jeep to produce 'A Day's Work' , a summer series that profiles some of the most interesting and unique jobs in Major League Baseball stadiums. This week, Wade visits Minnesota's Target Field to work with Twin's Head Groundskeeper Larry DiVito. From pulling the nail drag to replacing home plate, Wade will get his hands dirty with 'A Day's Work'.

I love these about the groundskeepers. The infields that the big leaguers get to play on are just PERFECT and now we can see why. The ground's crew seems to be the most passionate people in all of maintenance.

After you've spent 10 hrs getting your field perfect, you're exhausted, and the last thing you want to watch is someone go destroy all your hard work - but if they didn't tear it up, we wouldn't have a job. So, no complaints. At the end of the day, there's nothing more satisfying than getting a baseball field perfect. 👌
