We've yet to to truly feature the A5 flying in New England, but it's one of the more unique and beautiful places to fly the A5. We hope you all enjoy this preview and getting to know one of our training and membership partners in that region.

Great video. As an Icon A5 owner I especially liked the "box canyon reversal" instruction pointing out that each step has importance to achieve the goal of getting away from terrain.

That step by step method at 7:00 is really cool to see. I do the same procedure with my students, to demonstrate all the signs before stall. Sight picture, Airspeed, Listening to RPM, feeling your self pull back pressure the plane is telling you what to do, stall horn, stall. Looks like a great school to fly for. Safety is key, lightsport planes are a tricky plane to fly

I have loved the Icon since the start. its an awesome plane, not cheap but when they build quality such as the A5 than you expoect to pay more. The folding wing design along with the Angle of Attack indicator was 2 features that set it apart from the rest. I dont know if it need a larger power plant option, Im sure it would not hurt to have .

I absolutely love this plane. Wish I knew someone who owned one. It's on my bucket list to go for a ride in one. I follow many people with planes on KZbin, and there's only two planes I would love to fly in, Mike Patey's Scrappy, and an Icon A5. I fly an RC version of the Icon. It's one of my favorite RCs to fly.

the design of the plane is very cool except for the stick rudder which is an extremely stupid decision, the steering wheel would be much more comfortable
