It kinda makes sense. Both were women with great singing voices, who didn’t care what was popular on the radio or mainstream , and put out whatever music they wanted. Both did music that was inspired by the 60’s and 70’s.

They both have strikingly similar voice patterns, and a similar sound, and amazing talant, and people that own and listen to both Amy and Kalis alblums (like myself) find them to sound similar. With the exception of Kali, I have NEVER said anyone has sounded like Amy before, and I have been a big fan of hers since her first alblum was out, long before her death, own it on CD and Vinyl. Im a fan of both wemen, and there voices while singing tend to carry the same pitch / tone. Kalis voice is so beautiful, the first thing I said when I heard her singing was OMG, she sounds like AMY... And I was excited, as we all know Amy isnt making any more music... :( They also have similar good looks, and taste in makeup/ hairstlyes/ ect. and good music videos, but their singing voices with their singing style, that's what makes them similar and spactacular!
