This is hilarious.. coming from a Heat fan, I'll admit LeBron does his fair share of flopping. Such a great player doesn't need to flop around.
@thunderpooch10 жыл бұрын
That's the thing though. He isn't a great player. He is a somewhat effective player, but his game is ugly and he has no finesse. Barkley's highlights make him look like a ballerina compared to Lebron. And Jordan, Magic, and Bird look like gods dancing on clouds compared to Lebron's game. Even Kobe and Iverson's game make Lebron look like a special needs klutz. I will never understand why anybody worships Lebron. Actually I kinda get it. Before Lebron did a thing NIKE and ESPN wouldn't stop hyping this mediocre ass clown. Americans blindly swallowed the hype like they do with all other advertisements.
@PensFan3010 жыл бұрын
John Kerkhoff No, the thing is you're a moron. When you win 2 NBA Championships, 2 NBA Finals MVP's, and 4 Regular season MVP's and CONSISTENTLY put up 25 points, 8 rebounds every season while shooting over 50%, then you have the right to be called the best player in the NBA. His game had a lot more finesse in Cleveland, but after realizing how big of a player he is, he decided to use his size to dominate near the basket. Your basketball IQ is hovering somewhere around 0 right now I presume.
@Theneighborhoodbaker10 жыл бұрын
John Kerkhoff he is still better than you . how many points does he get a game ( beside foul shots ) ? alright than . He is a great player . He still doesn't need to flop though lmao but besides the flopping he is a great player.

Every above-average shooter in the NBA flops now. It's just part of the game these days, like it or not. It falls under the concept of 'gamesmanship', and it's as old as sport itself. James does it, but he's certainly not the worst. Not even the worst current high-profile player. What about Chris Paul? James Harden? Blake Griffin? These guys flop and/or whine at the refs for calls literally a dozen times every game. LeBron maybe does it only once or twice.

Joe Ng Actually, KD is a master at deliberately provoking trivial contact on his hands/forearms when taking jump-shots specifically so he can take free trips to the line. That's just 'flopping' by other means. Pure gamesmanship, just the same. I don't blame him. It's part of the sport. These superstars are paid to win, and taking high-percentage shots at the free-throw line and getting the other team into foul trouble is extremely effective toward winning games.

In hockey if you flop it gives you know advantages in fact it gives you disadvantages. In basketball in could result in to a turnover or free throws. So no it doesn't make hockey a more "manly" sport. Not defending flippers or anything but I knew where you where going with this shit and just wanted to tell you that it is a horrible comparison to compare very different sport with very different set of rules.

All these young kids desperately want a new Michael Jordan. Sorry kiddies, Lebron is no Jordan. He is mainly a clumsy bull in a china shop with an inflated ego larger than his cheap "CHOSEN 1" tattoo. His game is ugly and has little to no finesse. If having a ton of muscles but no skill is your thing, then so be it. I watched Jordan and Barkley and even a bit of Magic and Bird. Let me tell ya kiddies, Lebron doesn't even come close. Kobe and Iverson are remarkable players as well compared to Lebron. Worse players ever for the league: Lebron and Shaq. They proved that dumb fans just want to see an offensive player plow their way to the basket. Sure it might win championships every now and then, but no one who loves playing or watching the game can appreciate that "style" of play.

What people don't realize is how wet the floors can get with their dripping sweat in a ac enviroment where there is no sun shining inside the stadium. Also the cramps they get by getting hit by a player are dangerous as well. No wonder they need mouth pieces, knee pads, elbow pads, face masks. Don't forget some NBA players have a smoke bomb (flatulence) as a defensive mechanism as well, very deadly I heard that it can cause trauma especially during clutch time.
@thehotguyskowtown211 жыл бұрын
What was fixed about those series were the bad calls against the Celtics and Pacers, that one's pretty obvious. Kobe won 2 championships without another superstar on his team, that's 2 more than LeBron. And Kobe was not a "sidekick" for two of those 3 rings. Kobe was the one who initiated the offense and led all those comebacks. That's why people think of clutch when they think of Kobe.
@augustjologs1 Жыл бұрын
Don't wait for the contact. That's the essence of the flop!
