This movie actually surprised me. Yes it was cheesy and predictable but also had a few fun scenes aand the chemistry between the main leads was amazing! It's a cute feel-good movie for the holiday.

I actually sat through the whole movie with my girl last night. I am clearly not the target audience, but she LOVED it! For me, it was absolutely exhausting. I couldn't wait for it to be over. There was one good twist near the end (spoiler alert!) when she finally does find Airport Guy and explains that she's in love with Teddy. After she rambles on about how her destiny is with Teddy, with no response from Airport Guy, she runs off to find her beloved Teddy. It is shortly after this that we the audience learn that although he did indeed show up at the concert, he's actually not there waiting for her all. He's waiting for his date. Beside this moment, there was absolutely nothing surprising about this film...except maybe the fact that I made it through the whole thing without slitting my wrists! LOL!

It was such an odd movie. Pentatonic being mentioned every 5 minutes, like we forgot the movie revolved around them. The twist I liked, as it was a good subversion of the relationship setup, which let’s be honest was a bit paint by numbers. Although somehow, I find our main protagonist a bit… unlikeable. In the beginning she seems both impossibly naive in her ambition, oddly overbearing and demanding. I also felt there was a lot of deus ex machina in the show like her Red dress, how they got the tickets after everything else failed, etc. also while we’re at it; I know that this is their movie but, why are pentatonix audience surrogates? I get the meta humor for a plot that’s been done to death but that just made it extra wierd. Also I found the lead developing love so quick was odd but, hey it’s a romcom, and they went through alot so I can allow it. That said the ending was fun and there were lots of funny moments throughout, so overall; it was cool, I thought. If hilariously corny

I liked the movie. Give it a solid 6.5 - 7 out of 10. Def was predictable, a little cheesy but there were some funny, endearing moments too. Wanna see a terrible movie? Falling for christmas. It's so bad I wish I could go back in time and slap myself for suggesting watching it.
