My best friend is a retired LPN who had worked in elder care facilities in the beginning. And she would tell me the sad stories of some of those residents. And she too would stick around those clients who had no one to show up to visit, etc. as they were passing. And she had told me that there were a couple times she witnessed something misty like leaving this person's body when they passed. And also she felt when they were no longer in the room with her. But she said it was kinda like a puff of long smoke coming out the dead person's mouth. And also would see like a spiraling type mist lifting up out of a body from their stomach/belly button area. And it would just lift up thru the ceiling or out the door and down the hallway. And this affected her.

This was awesome! I loved hearing about Mel's life. I had never heard anything much about his history. I found that very interesting. I always love Linda G as well, and rarely miss her episodes. You did a wonderful job of questioning and interacting with both Linda and Mel. I have watched you do interviews before and have added you to my many subscriptions. I like Mel & Linda, quote the duo. I used to have dreams that would later come true, or it would be place or people that I would later encounter in waking life. It stopped for me, don't know why. But now it happens to my son, which is interesting.

so glad to hear Mel's story! But I need relief. 45 years ago, a girl was murdered in the town I would soon move to. I had no idea, but she had gone to the same high school I would attend. We moved to the area (what was it, high school number 4?), nicknamed "Pill Hill". My father spent 3 weeks on the road, came home for a weekend. My mother was always ill and had a seizure while he was gone. The doctors said she had a stroke, but we were very familiar with this and told them she had a gran mal seizure brought on by her brittle diabetic situation. Give her glucose! They refused. I was so mad, I had to walk it off. I was 15 or 16, and the neighbor girl came with me. I walked without knowing where I was going, but we were by some 5ft high bushes when I told my friend we were in danger, someone was watching us. I'll skip the details, but as we walked, I felt stabbing pains in my back and I thought I was dying. I stumbled along, and suddenly I felt fine. My friend went pale after I told her we were okay now. "Do you know whose house we just passed?" I did not, as I had never been there before. She tells me about the murder, and I say, "crap. we have to go back. She wants us to know what happened." My friend (understandably) was against this, but back we went. I saw the whole thing, including the face of the person who had killed her. We go home and a meeting is called and we discuss. I knew details the police hadn't revealed (later confirmed), and here is the guilt part...I told them her brother (I didn't know she had one) would die within 6 months because of this. The group said go to the police! Back then? I would have been under suspicion. I didn't go. Her brother died, and yes, I know about that too. Mel, what do you do with the guilt??? Murder(s) unsolved as of today. I wish I could say that was the only time. But a 15 year old going to an inept police department with that story 45 years ago? um...??? And yet I am still haunted. Actually not sure if I am confessing or asking for absolution!

This was very refreshing. It's nice to hearyou talk about life and death in a respectful way. I did palliative care for 17yrs, and I totally get what you mean about helping people go through the last stage of life. I considered it an honor to be a part of that Process.Everyone needs someone. I once had a client whom I got very close to. After he passed I kept getting this message that I was to tell his daughter that she was not to sell the house they lived in together, that she was to stay put. The voice kept nagging at me till one day I went to see his daughter and I told her what her dad was telling me. After that the voice got quiet, so I guess the message was received, lol. ❤

Yeah, that victimhood would get old really fast especially if you’re an empath or you’ve heard it so many times! I had one coworker, that would call me at night and complain the exact same thing over & over & over didn’t matter who was hired, it was the same exact grievance It was like pressing on a tape recorder and playing it over and over and over nothing changed, and I said well I heard you say this so many times but I’m upset you don’t dump on people & you know the other one was the mother of a guy from Iran that I had been with for a year she was talking about her husband’s 2nd wife 35 years prior & she would come out every day with it like it happened yesterday & she couldn’t believe it. I don’t know what those people need but they don’t need me.!

Yeah, seems it happens premenstrual, was for me before 13. Before my gmom died for about a year or so she started seeing long-dead relatives come to visit, even @ various ages (like an old guy came as a baby (her brother died years prior. Question:HAVE ANY OF YOU SEEN A PATIENT EXIT OUT THE TOO OF HIS HEAD??
@BeaconsofBalance5 ай бұрын
Yes listen to previous episodes on near death experiences. I saw my former mother in law pass and saw her spirit come Bach in thru the top of her head n then exit as she telepathically said goodbye to each of us . Unbelievable and a beautiful blessing Blessings 😇❤️

Why are some people born with psychic abilities and others have to develop it?
@BeaconsofBalance5 ай бұрын
My thoughts on this . I do believe in reincarnation and I feel we come back with gifts that we had developed from previous lives . How to you explain a 3 year old piano aficionado . We all could develop skills and gifts just takes practice and patience and of course a desire 😇❤️
@shelbylisa37825 ай бұрын
We’re all born with it. We are taught to ignore intuition, it’s part of fitting into society. If we choose to tell others about our abilities, be are subject to ridicule.
