My first job, I start on my 20 year birthday at my local IBM service buro, just one year after men landed on the moon. Clients where mostly multinational companies, I was the youngest starting as an operator on IBM 360/40, with an engineer diploma in a frame, a good knowledge of how computers works, fluent in english, reading thick books and able to write programs. Even in 1401 assembler, I quickly move to write applications for the backlog of these customers pushing them to migrate to 360/20. My first one was a sorting program (counting path) that take less than lunch time, as before with a card sorting machine 2 days / 2 guys, imagine it really works straightforward, such a joy. Retired now, I do my own research on keywords networks, I would love to test my mobile applications on powerfull Cloud servers. Cheers Mombo
