I’ve never ever met a pit bull with anything but a sweet baby temperament. The reputation is so unfair and heartbreaking. It’s not their fault that assholes have taken advantage of their strength and capitalize on it by making them fight and abusing them in the most inhumane ways.. My daughters have a pit at their dad’s house called Auggie and he’s just the sweetest guy ever. I wouldn’t ever allow my kids to be in a situation that I felt was dangerous and if anything I feel so much safer that he’s with them when they aren’t w me. Tbh I trust Auggie’s judgement more than their dad’s😂😂

This is why they have a reputation... I'm ganna share some personal stories about pitbulls who were raised in loving homes and were well taken care of, who attacked with no warning. 1. A friend of mines family had a pitbull and her 5 year old niece always used to come to their house and play with him on a regular basis but on this one particular day her neice visited and as usual went straight to the pitbull to go play with him. The dog literally attacked this child that he usually plays with. He bit her face before her parent pulled her away. She need 12 stiches in her face and on her 5 stitches on her hands. Luckily her doctors did a great job at treating her so she didn't scar too badly. 2. My mom is a cop and one of the Scenes she had to rush to one day was where the house dog who was a pitbull had attacked the new born baby that was brought home a few days before. What happened was that when they brought their baby home the dog didn't really take well to her so they kept the child away from him. One day the dog walked into the house and the baby's mom saw so she closed the door of the room where the baby was asleep. The moment she opened the door again, thinking that the dog had left the house to go outside as he usually does but he didn't leave and as soon as the door opened he attacked. That baby died. 3. In my childhood neighbourhood we had an old man who lived a few houses down from me who had a pitbull. Again... He was a loving old man who everyone loved. He really took care of his dog but one day randomly his own dog attacked him. He also died of his injuries in hospital the next day. Those are just a few stories of people around me who were attacked by their own pitbull for no apparent reasons. These owners were not breeding them to fight or abusing their dogs. They were just going about their day and the dogs just decided to attack. Now the sad part is that I'm not the only person around me who can tell you horrific stories about pitbull attacks around them. Their reputation doesn't come out of nowhere and all you dog fenatics saying they don't deserve their reputation and blaming the human cuz of the dog being a predictor are making it worse cuz so many people think it's okay to have a pitbull until someone around them gets hurt by one of them. Yes all dogs have incidents like this but not at the same rate as pitbulls do. They are inherently dangerous dogs and exposing your children to them should be seen as child abuse tbh... Because they are very unpredictable dogs that can literally rip your child to shreds. Also this video had nothing to do pitbulls so why even bring it up...?

he's probably mixed with pit! His size isn't typical of cane corso, they're usually much bigger, and just looking at the shape of his head/snout it looks like a blue nose pit mix! Beautiful dog.

My partner and I used to have a “no dog on the bed” policy too when we first adopted our fur-baby 😂 it did not last long!! We might have to wash our bed cover more frequently now, but the cuddles are so worth it. Our bed now feels empty if he sleeps in another room. Love my puppers!!

*make sure u get his nails clipped girl! If he gets nervous around other dogs he could’ve been a fighting dog or a bait dog, if he gets REALLY excited about food they prob withheld food from him to make him do what they wanted, He also could’ve been over bred too. I’m so glad you adopted him!!! Go adoption! I think he may be mixed with a pit bull, usually his breed is about 2 times bigger than he is. Look at that kind face tho ugh ;’) I’m so glad you took the parent over the puppies, the puppies ALWAYS go first so the parents are left in the shelter :(

I love the story.. and I love you two, my boyfriend adopted a pit bull/bull mastiff who was a drug mule for the cartel, he was the only dog out of 12 to live and has all types of scars and a hereditary disk in condition so he’s basically furless on 70% of his body but I love it and he’s unique, he’s literally 105 lbs and the biggest little baby I’ve ever met and I call him a human too! Him and my bf are soulmates for sure, So much abuse yet all they want is love.. I’m so glad u found each other.

I adopted a Lhasa Apso almost 4 years ago and he is such a loving dog ( he was closed in a cage with 40+ cats with him and a judge seized all the animals and he was in a local shelter ) and I discovered he is born the same months and year than my niece so they are a bit brother and sister ( even if he gets a bit anxious when she is jumping on the bed ) your dog is beautiful !

This reminds me so much of when I adopted my dog! I was worried about taking him to the dog park for a long time but he actually did super well! Obviously I keep a close eye on him but it seems like dogs have a secret code when it comes to playing in that kind of environment. I would definitely give it a shot!
