I enjoy watching your videos because they include education. When I was about 30 I had a parakeet and he would play with my children and play “basketball” with one of those balls with a bell inside. He learned to talk and would fly to my daughter’s shoulder (she was 4) when she clapped her hands and held her arms out. He lived a long time and died of old age. We loved him- his name was Buddy. I’m a senior citizen now and live in Scotland. Even though I love animals (dogs, cats, and birds), I don’t want a pet because at this point I am not able to take on and don’t want the responsibility. And that’s part of why your channel is hugely important- you teach about the responsibility of having birds.

It must be so hard to wait to bring Brando to come home! I believe God gives you the baby meant for you. So like someone who has very little experience may be an easygoing bird, while someone with greater knowledge would get a more challenging individual. Brando's "naughty" playfulness is perfect for you, because you can handle his precocious intelligence. I think that it will be fun for you to create play sceneros that will capitalize on teaching him to meet this potential. Fun!!

I am a new subscriber and two weeks ago I didn't know that anyone else in the world sniffed their beautiful birds. Have rehomed close to 20 birds and kept three cockatiels for myself. Small birds-huge personalities -and mostly domesticated. Mine follow me everywhere, 2 are paper trained and the doors to their cages have never been closed in 15 years.
