Yay a Meet My Horses video! These videos are always great to do, especially for new subscribers to your channel. That tack room looks lovely; so many bridles. Zora is so cute, and has a kind eye to her. She seems so easy going, and lovely to work with. The backstories of each horse are interesting and lovely to hear.

SO excited to see you working with Zora, I recently purchased a 3yo from ireland and I'm at the same stage as you are with Zora. Love seeing you do a day-by-day backing process, I find it super helpful. Also, just want to say you've been through a hell and back recently and I (speaking for your viewers) really appreciate you sharing the up AND the downs. You're doing so well, keep doing what you're doing. We support you and love you!!

Love your vlogs and always so informative, so jealous you got to train with Tim Stockdale, the closest i got was his twin Ivan was my horse dentist and couldn't have met a nicer guy, i did work for Geoff Billington cos he lived up the road from me, but he wasn't easy to work for, and i also got into Eventing which i was lucky cos my cousin in Ireland is a 4* eventer so i used to spend as much time as I could learning from her and her husband who is a xc course designer and eventer and then I got a job where I kept my horses and i learnt so much, but now my spine is crumbling so im having some time off but one day i will ride again 💜💜💜

I love seeing you work with Zora. That calm you maintain as you work with her is almost ASMR. I can tell that the feedback between you and her is positive. It may all be new and somewhat scary to her, but your insistent calm demeanor seems to really help her understand that new is still OK. ... And, I wish you owned Obi as well. I don't know why, but he just seems like a really big beautiful puppy when carried through the camera.

I'm sorry to hear you won't be keeping Zora and developing and producing her over her working life. She is an outstanding horse ... she just floats when she moves and her conformation ... WOW. What a beauty. Imagine what she will be like at 10 years old. Can't you bring on another horse to sell and keep her ? She seems to be an exceptional horse. Especially as you grow your You Tube channel ... you might find the means to produce another stunning horse alongside Zora and sell that one. Use Zora as your "Hackett Equine" brand 'standard bearer' so to speak ... the embodiment of your professional ability to produce a top notch horse. It just seems such a shame that you can't have the pleasure and satisfaction of realising her (obviously incredible) potential which, of course, takes years. I understand there is a commercial driver to your work as you are a professional yard ... not always able to indulge in the time/effort to produce your own horse but she really is lovely ... she looks and moves like she could be a once in a lifetime horse. Thank you for introducing all your other horses too. It will be lovely to see Kencos foal.

Obi's unique face and convex facial profile combined with his neck makes me almost think he has possibly some Kladstruber in him. People sometimes breed them with lighter built horses for dressage and could possibly explain his color/coat. Has the owner considered testing his DNA to figure it out? Either way he is such a beautiful horse!

There’s an Olympic Dutch jumper that competed bitless. I get it, I want to get back to riding after a few years of not doing it and I know I’ll have to do it with a horse w pretty much mouth completely shut... still, I hope bitless is the future. Even when you said that those who know how to ride with a bit it’s ok it’s not harmful, as a student you have the tendency to rely on the horses face so it’s really just not the best idea. With this being said, a lot of bits should be forbidden

Oooh nooo, don't sell Zora, please. She's so trusting & has such kind eyes. I hope you cut it off at 140 for jumps. Just because a horse can... doesn't mean you should. IMO, that's high enough. I used to attend The National Horse Show, final night jump offs, at Madison Square Garden, NYC. It has long since moved to Florida. The highest jump was 7' or 7'1" clear. The Judges stopped it at that point & I believe that is no longer allowed. There will always be Super Athletes, but I think constant high jumping is brutal on their bones. I am new to your channel but you seem very kind & thoughtful with your horses. Wishing you the best.

I wonder what a DNA test would tell you about Obi. Considering the amout of cross and out breeding of warm bloods, thoroughbreds and Arabs makes a DNA test inconclusive even. He reminds me of a large irish sporting horse, Idk I would have to look through some of my old books lol.
