One of her brothers died and the other was adopted my my dads co-worker. And the sister we have no idea who adopted her but I will try and find her if we can so I find it amazing how he adopted this cat cus it could of died.

One thing I've learned about cats is, you can spend all this money on toys and things for them, and they end up going to play with bottle caps, pens, straws...trash pretty much lol and their favorite thing are boxes...her PERFECT "nest" would be a box that's about 2ft x 3ft x 2ft, with a blanket in there, all closed up except you cut out a square hole in the side about 7x7 inches and she will LOVE IT...and most likely have her kittens in there. They love to feel like they are in a cave, esp dark ones, where they can spy on others where they can't be well seen...hence her going for that dark drawer.

These are very true! My cats favorite toys are worm on a string (after we cut off the string) sparkly puff balls, and small fake flowers. She like to be able to throw her toy and fling it around, she also likes to play fetch. I have also made her a box house and she loved it. She had a cat tree that has a cave like thing and it’s her favorite spot

Yah, I used to have a kitty that loves to steel pens and could not find any pens until I moved and found a stash of over 50 pens! She loved aluminum foil balled up to make a fast and easy batted ball and loved plastic caps off soda bottles... I'd throw it, shed get it, picking it up with her upper lip over it biting onto it and bring it back to me dropping it at my feet... Would never touch all those expensive toys I'd bought bought from Petsmart lol

Keirah S-J definitely don’t need more info. I foster kittens and cat, including pregnant cats. If one of the kittens gets stuck, you should take it to the vet. Kittens are very fragile when their first born. And a mom cat will do anything to protect her kittens, even if she trusts the human that is picking up the kittens.

Hey Joey! She most likely wants to have her kittens somewhere they can’t crawl out into the open. What she liked about the drawer is there were walls where the kittens wouldn’t be able to stumble out of it. So maybe get a tote and put blankets in it for her.

The bald spots above the eyes are very common in cats with allergies. If she's scratching a lot, you can try taking out fish and chicken from her diet (most common cat allergies). PS I think she looks like a Minx!

I just found your channel the other day and have to give you a big round of applause for taking in a pregnant cat. The shelters and rescue groups are overwhelmed because of the virus (some people are actually giving up their pets because they lost their jobs and can't afford to keep them which is why its important that whoever adopts a kitten knows it's a 20-year commitment), so yes, many are just being euthanized (which in many places means they are literally shoved into a giant trash can with other animals and the lid is closed and they die slow agonizing deaths choking on the toxic fumes, it's truly horrific). Thank you for helping this mom cat and her babies!

I adopted a rescue kitten a few years ago. He was found frozen to a truck trailer and had some weird deformations. He's so cute though! Even now that he's almost 5 years old, he still looks like a kitten. It's almost criminal how adorbable he is. His name is Tesla btw, since I never thought I'd own a cat, and know I'll never afford a Tesla, and I also love science. He also makes little pigeon coos instead of meaus. And allegedly Nikola Tesla wrote love letters to a pigeon. XD The name just works for my boi. I'm so happy you've taken her in. There are too many sweet fur babs without homes.

This hits me in the heart hard. I had a male black cat named Boo Boos, and he was my closest companion. Sadly, my parents had to put him down because he wasn’t very comfortable or healthy at the time. They never informed me they were putting him down, and I only found out when they showed me a box with his body in it (they didn’t show me him after he died, as that was the first time I had experienced a death in my life and they didn’t want to overwhelm me). He was a great cat and protected me since my parents brought me home. This cat reminds me so much of Boo Boos, so I’m glad Joey saved her from a life in the pound. Thank you. Edit: Just to clear any confusion, this was many years ago and although I still miss him I know he’s happy now. I also have a dog named Oreo that is very sweet. He’s no Boo Boo’s, but he has helped me since that point of my life. Thank you for all the touching replies, they really made my day.

Your scent will help her find comfort when you're not there. When I buy new items for my cats, I use them myself or place a blanket I use. You're awesome for taking her in!

Kev 101 ikr! and most the time people think they’re aggressive because they don’t know cats’ body language and how to communicate with them. they usually pet them too roughly, on the belly where most cats hate but dogs love, and don’t watch out for signs that they are annoyed or have had enough stimulation - like tail wagging or having the ears back which is why it’s almost always dog people that hate cats is because they have the complete opposite body language and dog people just cannot understand that.

Joey, you're going to have a very healthy and strong relationship with this cat. Seems how this cat hasn't scratched you, or bit you, she trusts you. And that's very great. I hope she has healthy babies. I also used to have a pregnant cat, and she gave birth in a closet. I chose a cat and named him sid, sadly he ran away . So hopefully that doesn't happen with your cat like it did mine.

シェリ OMG.. My cat gave birth in my closet too! She felt very safe in there, we always found her in there when we “lost” her. She had very healthy babies. We kept one but he later passed away by a car/coyote. I’m not sure. The one that was pregnant also ran way. She knew I loved her, but I guess it was her choice to leave. I think someone took her though, as she always, always came back after she went out.

Wintoes Alfredo aw, that's sad. The pregnant cat we had was named Sadie, and she had 5 babies but one sadly passed away at birth. Their names were Sid, Mimi, Kody, and Willybean. Willybean was half dead then my mom breathed in his nose and now he's fine. Sid was my cat, and Mimi was my sister's. We couldn't keep Kody so we gave him to our friends. He sadly died cause he got ran over. Sid and Mimi ran away, we usually let them outside and the somehow got over the brick wall. And Before Sid and Mimi left, they sat up on the outside windowsill and Sid looked me in the eyes, then ran down the street. And then we got rid of Sadie for reason idk I was like 5. And I got my keep my baby Willybean :3 So now I'm happy... well sorta, not really but he does keep me happy. So yeah :3

With the quarantine right now, that's probably easier said than done. Probably depends on if the vet thinks it's essential or not. The surprise is part of the fun, as long as she's healthy. Which she luckily appears to be, thankfully. She is absolutely gorgeous :)
