Amazing video and I love all your rats, their all so cute and it looks like they have an amazing life. I would maybe recommend putting some more items in their cage to prevent falls but otherwise it looks great. O and about the curled tails, to me they seem to be genetic. My two girls Lilly and Clover came from a not so great breeder and genetically have curled tails. I wouldn't worry to much about, it just seems to cause their balance to not be as great. So if possible you could add some extra fall breakers 😁

That is actually so helpful! The genetics scenario makes a lot of sense. And yeah I've added a few since I filmed the video, I usually have a bunch of boxes and extra things but they weren't in for the video. But that's a good point about the balance and them needing a little bit of extra cushioning!

I have one male rat, I know that they are social animals but Lucky was a feeder rat the was refused by my friends snake and she was going to just let him outside so I had to do something. Luckily years ago I had 2 girls and I had a cage for him. So now he lives alone in his rat mansion gets so much attention and free roams 18 hours a day! I love him so much!

Hi hi! So contrary to the other comments about the wheel, neither 12 nor 14 inches is enough for adult females. A rescue in my area mentions how if you really want a wheel, it should be minimum 30 inches in order to avoid the curled tail because that is spinal damage. But! You can check and see if you can find a saucer/disk like wheel instead for a more suitable alternative!

I appreciate you letting me know nicely! It was working for a while when the girls were babies since their backs werent curved which is what matters with the wheels but I am saving now to get them and extra big and nice one. I love the curved one idea, thank you! 💜💜💜 I appreciate you watching 💞

Okay. I feel better about having 9. I had 6, then rescued 4 in an unbelievably bad situation (people suck). One passed after trying everything. Vet had warned me but I wanted to try anyways. What's money if not a way to help others. I'm rambling .. cute girls. And.. once you have 2 rats, whats 6.

Really cute video! Just to let you know a 12" wheel is to small for adult rats, its fine for young females and dwarfs but not a full grown rat. The minimum for females is 14" and the minimum for males is 16". Just wanted to let you know and i hope this helps

I love watching back at all of your rat videos as someone who is currently getting supplies to get rats of my own, most creators i find who do content regarding pet rats are youtubers with millions of subscribers and lots and lots of money so its really helpful being able to see what realistic stuff i could get for my own rats 😁

My two guys get soooo jealous if I don't pet them before petting the keyboard!!! 'I'm not petting it, I'm typing here guys!' ...but, yaknow, try telling them that! Plenty of content on my channel of them being total lap rats if yer interested. Not to mention plenty of craziness too; try giving them a rib bone sometime, it's HILARIOUS!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Your rats are so sweet, I have 6 boys and they're a handful to say the least! I Just wanted to drop a comment about their wheel. You mentioned its 12 inches, I believe the minimum is 14" for females and 16" for males x

HI! New subscriber here! Cute group of girls! I personally have 9 rats 4 girls and 5 boys when ch is the first time for me. My original group I always had girls my original breeder moved so I was without rats for 4-5 years since ratters from me was minimum was 3 hours one way. A new breeder popped up really close by so I got my 4 girls 4 are martens 1 is Rex and the other is double Rex. I ended up adopting 5 boys f on her that for some r Aston people were over looking 4 are naked and one has fur. And yes such a difference between boys and girls. Looking forward to more videos ❤️

Omg they sound so adorable! Thank you so much for sharing! Yeah I had a couple local breeders that I got my first girls from but that turned out to be not such a great breeder. Lol for my two girls that I got from a breeder I drove like 3 and 1/2 hours 🤣 And my other four I got from a friend who no longer could care for them

@@amethystscorner you are very welcome! Unfortunately people say they are "breeders" but in reality they are not or not taking the time to ensure there line. A breeder popped up maybe 30min away from me and after digging with questions didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. Hope yourself and the rats are doing well?
