i'll be getting a corn snake one day (since in my country feeding ball pythons are way more expensive which is a pity because they're my favs) but if i could get a dwarf ball python then i'd choose that

No snake is "mean" actually, it's all about their xp with people and their health ;) I have 3 snakes now, about one (the newest) I was warned by breeder he strikes at everyone and bites even when you open his tank, but I was able to take him out without biting and now he's already a part of snake family. I'm still taming and encouraging him (as well treating his mites and skin problem) and as far, he never bit me. He was just very scared, I guess was the breeder who had bad handle with him + the mites (which one of basic symtoms is nervousness and agitation). I think, snakes as lone animals doesn't have those "social behaviors" as much developed as cats or dogs or humans, so they can't be "mean" or agressive without real purpose. Also let's remember, they are very small compare to us ppl, so they may be just scared and shy, unless are tamed and don't have a bad xp with ppl in general! But every snake can be tamed, at least more or less, it's all about patience and being aware of their behaviors ;)

How do the real plants keep it out in the terrarium? And did you know that they can live up to 40 years? And do they eat rats or mouses? Sorry, i am not curios at all 😃 I also have ball pythons for 10 years and I like your terrariums♡

Plants that do well in the shade seem to thrive in the cold side of their tanks just fine! They have peace lillies and spider plants, which also tend to clean the air and add humidity! I did know that, I'm super excited to have my babes for atleast another 30 years omgggg! Snack eats thawed rats, Sliertje small mice :)

Since you have snakes, this might be a weird question But, how do you know a snake won't eat or kill another one. I know some animal species will kill the male to protect its babies for example, or in some cases snakes will ear other snakes. Is it only snakes of different breeds? Do carnivores species result to canabalisim if they feel threatened by the other snake or get too hungry or they're the opposite sex? Just curious. Also I've never seen snakes so calm. They're too cute!

Ball pythons can attack eachother when they're kept in the same tank. However, there are also many people who keep multiple ball pythons in the same tank, and they seem to do fine! I don't, because they are solitary animals and are happier on their own. But I don't think they would attack eachother, seeing how they cuddle up together when they both are out and don't show any sign of aggression or fear towards eachother. Some snake species do live in groups, but then there's snake species who eat other snakes as their natural diet.. So depends on the species but also depends on the personality!
