I met Russian cosmonaut @OlegMKS🧑🏼‍🚀 who answered all my questions about space! 🌌 How can one become a cosmonaut? What is the difference between a cosmonaut and astronaut? How are Russian-American relations in space? Do aliens exist? 👽 What is space food like?…
Oleg Artemyev is an accomplished cosmonaut who has been to space already four times! He took me on a tour of the Yuri Gagarin Space Training Center where I got to see the Soyuz module and the Russian segment of the International Space Training Center. 🛰️ It was interesting to hear about how these men and women are brave enough to shoot for the stars 🌎💫 Oleg even debunked some space myths and talked about why cosmonauts can’t have tattoos!

Im currently finishing my aerospace engineer master degree in Germany. Thus, i love everything that has to do with this topic. I was born and lived all my life in Germany, but my parents are Russians. After finishing my degree i want to leave Germany and live in Russia forever, because i love everything about Russian culture, history an so on. I like the western culture very much too. But unfortunately (atleast i think that way) the West or lets say the western governments destroy its own culture and identity. Especially the fact, that western countys send so many weapons to kill more Russians makes me very sick. But anyway ... back to your videos. I really enjoyed every of your Videos. As i said i love everything about russia. But also your way of presenting it, is very joyfull. And this video is literally peak entertainment to me, because it combines Russia with engineering. This video made me even write this comment. Normally i never do that. Спасибо тебе большое за твои видео, Саша! Пожалуйста, никогда не прекращай тваю работу. Я уже с нетерпением жду следующего видео :) Победа будет за нами!

Much of what you say is true. But listen to your parents, read the materials, watch the video about the history of Bolshevism in Russia in general and the 90s in particular. Believe me, now is not the best time to move. The rampant Putinism is in full swing, the millstones of circumstances are erasing people with a snap of their fingers. For at least a year, look at what is happening from the outside, prepare better, and then with clearer ideas you will make a more informed decision on newly discovered circumstances.

What is VERY impressive is how Russia was doing more space exploration, and first station, and sent US satellites in space for 20 years with less technology. Russian's really go for the essential and don't bother with the superfluous. It's impressive and deemed of admiration.

Your info about Russia is really outdated, we have more technology these days than you guys do!
@juliap.5375
@juliap.5375 4 ай бұрын
Because it have no “less technology”. Are you not tired from this propaganda about “drunk backward russians”, who in reality send space observatories in space, you use technology of russian space stations, russia build hypersonic missiles which you can’t repeat even after years and dozens arrested spies who stole blueprints. Common, accept reality, somebody have more technologies. Difference in another - you have market, so you can produce goods, as example personal computers. Russia have no market, that’s why even with existing own processors (one out of just 4 countries in world) can’t produce own personal computers, they will be too expensive because “no market -> no huge sales -> high prices”. Same about cars, phones and all rest stuff.

I remember as a youth driving with my older brother far enough from our small town at night to sit on top of the hood staring up in space to see if we could see satellites flying over us.

Sasha, you didn’t explain what strings you pulled to get to the Cosmonaut Training center and conduct this interview. Very impressive! You didn’t ask the mandatory question, “Do you believe that Americans pulled off the moon hoax half a century ago in the stone age of the manned space missions?” 11:38 going out into open space = perform EVA or spacewalk 27:30 I used to work in the EVA group…
