The John Theydon books did give them more to do than the TV series I feel (particually the third). OCS and NCS only really focussed on one.

I Always liked John's adventure for Stingray as it was very exciting and probably couldn't be made with the effects limitations of the day. A more mature CGI version of Stingray would be great , in the vein of the excellent CGI Captain Scarlett.

Captain Scarlet was an amazing series for that decade in 1967!I couldn’t believe,how they made these puppet’s move on those string’s!Threw researcing,I’ve found out,they made those stick puppet’s,so,they could ‘move’underneath the plane.✈️ It’s also,hard to believe,that this serie’s was made when we were kid’s!I just loved this show!Ha,ha!It took me year’s to see it,too!😊

Melody was initially supposed to be Captain Scarlet Girlfriend in the S1ep2 they go to a fancy restaurant with Blue Being pair with Destiny and Scarlet being pair with Melody. i remember this episode because Melody hairstyle , dress & fur were so classy & stunning. Sad that directors changed their mind & didnt push their romance further !

Nope. The agents went out together when they time off. The episode was Big Ben Strikes Again… when Scarlet, Blue, Destiny and Melody went out together. In the Mysterons they get Destiny to identify the body of Captain Scarlet, indicating that she knew him better than most .. and in Attack on Cloudbase.. admittedly a dream sequence, Destiny is loudly protesting that she wants to fly out and fight the Mysterons in the place of Scarlet… so the likelihood is that Destiny and Scarlet may have been a couple.. and they definitely carried that over in New Captain Scarlet, even though they shuffled the angels around and Destiny lost her accent… Then we have Blue who was indicated to be in a relationship with Symphony angel in Manhunt and again Attack on Cloudbase were he professes his love for her to Colonel white. The girls get paired up with Scarlet and Blue again in Model Spy.. where the guys express their affection for the girls dressed up in their French fashionable attire .. which could be deemed a tad inappropriate if they weren’t in relationships with those angels… so… it’s unlikely, unless you have some extra intel on it that I haven’t heard
