I love how excited Hannah gets when she first sees the animals she was looking for. That's me! I didn't know Vienna had wild hamsters! I guess I gotta spend my vacation in Vienna, pay a visit to Beethoven's grave and sit still and tight and observe. And it's good to know about the herons in Amsterdam! My next vacation is in Den Haag, one day will certainly be spent in Amsterdam catching their meal. A nice bonus are the gulls, I love watching gulls arguing over food. :D

Another example is the cockatoos in Sydney. Our crew even showed an app that anyone can download to help scientists identify the secret behaviour that makes cockatoos so highly adapted to urban areas.

I feel like in most cases wildlife doesn’t move into our cities WE built over THEIR habitat so I love the idea of trying to coexist. Great video thanks for sharing!

The fact that some of the hamster burrows in this video are very close to graves makes me wonder, do they ever dig to the point where they find the coffin that is underground?

It's funny that hamsters seem like they can only be pets. Even the fact that when they are wild they are filmed in civilization seems fitting.

🐹 When a nature documentary like this one showed me that teddy bear hamsters are native to the syrian desert, I thought my mind was playing tricks on me :D I always thought they were strictly a product of domestication

The fact that European hamsters are thriving in cemeteries makes me really happy since they are endangered, cemeteries might the only man-made places that actually help animals even though they are made for dead humans. And the fact that they are called places for the dead is quite ironic, because I don't think the animals in the cemetery see it that way😂😂😂❤❤❤.

I gather that at least some European communities are more receptive to accommodating the wildlife living in urban areas than are a lot of American (USA) communities. -- and I'm an American

Great content but rather annoying over enactment from Hannah Stitfall ..I get being exited but you can smell the audience baiting from a mile away! Less is often more; we are here for the animals and not the acting. This makes me sad, seeing that wildlife is becoming more and more an attraction and that they live off our garbage skipping the hunt. We'll pay the price for sure.

Can they put up signs telling people to feed macaques only their normal diet? Beans, nuts, fruits, vegetables, potatoes, etc. And a sign that says cooked people food is very bad for macaques. Many people enjoy watching marques and wouldn’t want to do anything to harm them. 🕊️🤍🕊️
