Maria Thomas’s work focuses on memories & aspects of motherhood. She repurposes everyday objects & discarded cloth. Ephemera of shopping lists, food wrappers & graphic packaging are cut out & stitched before being absorbed into the fabric by patchwork & quilting techniques.
