Ooooh! Botanicals on fabric! Love this idea. I may have to try this? Yours turned out so pretty and springy. Thanks for the inspiration, Julia!

Hi Robin, I'm so behind on comments-ugh! Thank you so much for watching! You are really rocking your channel- I'm so happy for you. Keep it going! Maybe we can do a collaboration- I can do a printable of fabric, maybe you can do the same printable on paper ( or something like that) We can link each other's channels. A lot of my subscribers also love mixed media, journalling, card making etc, and I think they would love your channel. Give it some thought and let me know. Julia

Hi Julia - This is beautiful. Love all the little background fabrics you used. Awesome design too. You think of the best things!!! I’m behind on my videos. I would love to make one of these whenever I can find the time. We’ve had crazy weather lately. A bad storm blew a lot of trees down around here but nothing hit our houses. We were blessed. Hope you are enjoying your shop. It looks like such a fun place to go. Maybe summer is headed your way. Stay safe. Hugs. 💕☀️🪴

Hi Pam, So sorry about your trees. It's always so sad to see that happen and it's such a mess to clean up! We are finally experiencing some warmer weather here. Hot weather rolls in next week. Don't feel bad about being behind on videos, I'm so behind on my comments, etc. Such a busy time. I'm doing a small amount of gardening this summer after being away from it for a few years. It's feels so good to dig in the dirt again! Have a good weekend! Julia
@pamketron2 жыл бұрын
@@stitchesbyjulia Yes digging in the dirt is good for the soul. I plant tomatoes and cucumbers. We used to have a huge garden every year. Dad hasn’t been able the last 4 years so I only plant a few thing up at my house. Be careful of the deer!!! They will eat everything in sight. We have way too many around here. They even ate leaves off of some of my shrubs this past winter that they don’t even like!!! Enjoy playing in the dirt. Your garden is probably laid out in a beautiful design!!! Hugs.

I think the deer are going to win in my garden! My mom was such an amazing gardener. I wish I would have paid more attention growing up. I could have learned a lot.😊

Julia, I just love this, I've been wanting to do some fabric collages but didn't quite get the hang of free motioning them yet. But these are adorable, I believe I would like doing this better. Of course all your projects you make them look so easy. I'm going to try this right away.

I love this! I would like to use this as blocks for a quilt. What do you recommend for a fabric medium to set the watercolor paint?
@stitchesbyjulia2 жыл бұрын
A quilt would be beautiful! I would use a fabric medium and heat set. Also test a square and wash it a couple of times. It may fade some. Thanks for watching! Julia
