Bayern is a good ship, just needs some intelligent well thought out moves and your basically a Bismarck that doesn’t have to deal with the Tier 7 destroyers or Legendary tier. Same can be said for Queen Elizabeth and Warspite.

I’d have to disagree with the Bayern’s AP being poor. The Bayern has the best guns at T5. The AP is solid you just have to not shoot so low on an angled New Mexico. Also, before pushing the cap you should have used a heal as a just incase to give you a small boost of hp. You could have been easily killed by the enemy DD. The reason you use the heal before you reach the cap circle is so your next heal is off of cool down. Could make a difference in a game one day.

Ehhh. The AP is good but it's not New Mexico penetration. A bayern shooting a over angled dallas. You see what he got. Good penetrations getting good damage but in a New Mexico. It's more of "Yeah, go back to port sunshine." I've had shatters on a broadside New Mexico. The penetrations is okay but it's no where near the New Mexico penetration where it's fantastic.

Godzilla IV California seems to be better than New Mexico because I did some test with them in standard I can get more penetration on the California then the New Mexico also, California seems to get me more damage than the New Mexico, but Bismarck is way better than a Bayern, I went for Bismarck rather than Iowa is because of the name Bismarck lol 😂

@@av3nt4dor8 Because the Cali has MK7 guns whereas the NM only has MKIV guns but either way. Both ships have some fantastic penetration. They catch you broadside. It's either "Go back to port" or "3/4 of your HP now belongs to me." And how is the Bis? I almost got her unlocked. Just have to grind for Gnes. I unlocked Iowa bc well. She's a beauty and she has a nasty bite when you catch citadel hits.

The Bayern is one of the best ships at tier V I think. It has a very good penetration and realy good turtleback armor🔥 It's one of my favorite ships Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

I do a full dispersion Von Hipper Build on mine. Same inspirations. Although my last perks are the secondary buffs and will to rebuild. And... I discovered how to get incredible accuracy in the Bayern by slowing the ship down, Locking on target and wait 3 seconds while locked on before shooting. Works 9/10 times it seems. Just had a game yesterday with 165k damage, 6 kills, and 8 medals.

I have to admit I’ve never really considered Bayern’s to be that threatening. I always respect their guns definitely, but I’m not so proud that I won’t just angle away and burn it down if I need to.

I like to use Franz von Hipper. Flammable Cannonier, Gyrating Drill its, Marksmanship, Reaching Out XXL, and Will to Rebuild. Makes my Bayern a German, California

I live the SMS Bayern even with her weird dispersion lets her hit the most interesting shots because her guns hurt! If she had a spotter plane the Legends staff would have to nerf the Bayern in some way. And it’s 15 6 inch guns spartan! She’s like the Boise with different consumables!

I think Brawler and Farsight are meant to stack on one a other. Hyde is the only commander that lets you do this and even though you lose 1 heal, you can spot Torpedoes at a 27% further distance (when both are maxed). At tier 6 and 7, if you chose RGA as an upgrade, you can get it up to 47%!

I would love to see an all out brawl between the American Battleships against all other Battleships. Two teams in a closed match with Spartan heading the Americans line while Peek heads the other nations. I don't know if it's possible but a closed match would prevent stream sniping. Just today survived C cap with 4 battleships there against me :) runaway and our destroyer did its job, I ve done 111000 damage there :) barely survived with torps on the way to hit me but time ended and we won :)

It's a good ship but as you said. The AP isn't great. When they hit, they hit hard but I just had to free XP myself out of the ship. The vertical dispersion is horrendous.

Bayern is my go to ranked ship. Three seasons in a row I had a 64+ win rate and I really only played the Bayern. Super tanky with the build I run, Dispersion really is the only issue.

On ps4 you can double tap the left trigger and it automatically puts your crosshair close to where it needs to be to hit the ship your aiming at . I don’t know if it does that on Xbox though.

they will have flags for special events on occasion like the 1 year strong event and in rare instances they will give free codes on their social media for flags like during the memorial weekend they had a special flag that you could redeem.
