I was kinda shocked to see the actual depth behind the game mode, didnt think anyone would analyze it the same way pros do it on regular RL. I have about 1.3k hours into RL and never gave rumble a second thought, but you guys being so passionate about it made me want to play some more.

god, the level of passion they have for the grind to learn the unknown is fucking inspiring. It's one thing to be like "I want to get super good at something" and then devote a ton of time to acquiring all the knowledge out there about it to master it, it's an entirely different thing to pave that road yourself because that knowledge doesn't exist yet. I litterally hit ch3 div 4 both times and dropped even to Diamond 3 for short but 2 Werks ago I finally hit GC1 and even managed to stay there since. And just for the record, I've always liked rumble, I like the chaos and that you need to think and act faster and be on your toes wherever you are. Normal rocket league always feels slower and easier after I've played a couple games of rumble. I always have afew games of rumble when I start playing badly. Then switch back and I'm playing better again :)

I love rumble. Sometimes it feels like rng works for or against you but I never felt like it was a luck based mode. When you commit to learning it and figuring out item tells before opponents use them, the strategy really opens up and the rng matters way less.

What i tell people who don't play is to play and start in rumble. It teaches you to think about your plays and study the field. You can learn parts of the game without feeling like a burden while learning At the lowest level its luck based but at the highest its exactly these two. Fully aware of the field, power ups in play, team Comp, and still playing well without power ups. Rumble is my favorite by far in the available game modes. I wish they would make knockout permeant
