Im from England and over the past couple of weeks i have been watching the coronavirus struggle over in America and i have been flicking between relevant news shows to get an idea of all political based biased representation on the situation, i have been left a bit confused by a few unanswered questions. Firstly if you are uninsured or out of work, who takes the bill to save your life from coronavirus? Secondly us Brits have not been perfect in reacting to the situation but we realised that this was a time to put aside differences and work as a country to lock down and battle starving the coronavirus of bodies to transfer to. At the moment i see the vast majority of Americans being selfish and not pulling together as proud American you are. Thirdly i am shocked at how blame is being thrown between both sides of the table, why cant both sides work together and then after this is over start pointing the finger? All i see is a total disarray of leadership from your president to the local governors and i think the country is totally under estimating the short term gain of the economy for the long term destruction of the economy this could potentially have. Just before someone says it, i am far from a lefty. I wish you all good luck and may this virus avoid you and your families!

I'm not sure your comments are accurate. I think America opened up before the UK and in a few months we might have a situation similar to where they are now. Post Cummings debacle I'm not sure the country is United. The Americans are realising a mask mandate in public is necessary. I hope the UK figures that out quickly

Tom G i don’t disagree we may have a second wave with us starting to get things moving again but we are at least looking to lockdown areas that are potentially hot spotting again. How can you not say communities have not come together? 2 million instantly volunteering to help those in need, clap for nhs bringing communities together. Captain Tom bringing the people together! We all know Cummings was a muppet but it wouldnt of been common sense to get rid of him mid breakout!

If you are unemployed, medicaid, which is basically Obamacare, takes the bill 100 percent, after 90 days, that is part of our social services, you turn to unemployment first along with medical care if you can't afford something like a cobra plan $400 month. In this country i think 17k is considered the proverty level not affording you health care..its more complex but that's the basics..

Razzle Dazzle These are very good questions. As a nurse for over two decades I’ve been directly on the frontline of this pandemic here in the United States. I have sent a copy of a fourth step solution to media outlets including CNN, mayors, and other news outlets. There is a way to get a grip on this pandemic here in the United States. I am trying desperatelyTo reach the number of people I need to reach to make a difference not only here in the United States but around the world. There is another way that COVID 19 is disseminated. However, no one is talking about it. I have made animations to try to explain To the public the other way this horrific pandemic is spread that no one’s emphasizing. Every time I try to advertise it Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, has refused to allow me to advertise. Amazon basically told me as a nurse that I don’t have the right or the credentials to speak on the subject that I deal with every day at work. We are still seeing massive casualties to this disease. So you’re right to be confused at the opposition existing here and with this disease. I have decided that every day I get off work I will post a comment to as many people as I can and hopefully dissemination of his knowledge will begin an insidious mission to Promote individuals to fight for their lives. See in order to get the economy back on track well, I have a slogan that addresses this “ Does A Great Nation Make Healthy People or Do Healthy People Make A Great Nation?” S.R. Ridley, A Nurse You Can Trust

Razzle Dazzle These are very good questions. As a nurse for over two decades I have tried desperately to reach media outlets here in the United States in order to get a four step solution disseminated. However, it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Amazon basically told me that as a nurse who’s on the front line that I don’t have the credentials to be able to speak about the subject as I deal with daily. See there’s another way that this disease is spread and even though the research stated no one speaks about it so it makes individuals think they’re just 6 feet apart or doing proper handwashing then they are impervious to getting this disease. Unfortunately, this just isn’t so. I sent this information to CNN, multiple mayors, and other prominent news media outlets here in the United States. However, as I said before it is falling upon deaf ears. It’s important to reflect on the fact that in order to have a healthy economy and we open safely, it can be done, if we just employ some basic tactics. I developed a force of solution to attack the essence of this problem and decrease the spread of it. So I’m committed to every day when I get off work to coming to as many people until this information which is thousands or millions so they can begin to fight for their lives. I have created animations to explain this third part of the equation that the CDC and other states just doesn’t drive home as to how this disease is spread and why even with affective handwashing and social distancing did this disease continues to propagate here in the United States at record levels. I have a slogan I use “Does A Great Nation Make Healthy People or Do Healthy People Make A Great Nation?” S.R. Ridley, A Nurse You Can Trust

I was activated and sent to University Hospital in Newark NJ. It’s been difficult to describe to people what we saw and felt while we were there, this video portrays exactly what so many of us felt and experienced. The true hero’s were the full time staff of these hospitals we went to help. They had been in the trenches long before we got there and continued to be after we left. We all felt so honored to be able to go in and provide them with some much needed relief.

I'm not sure that the people that post comments on the internet are representative of wider society. Also I think some of the comments are tongue in cheek or fooling around. That said I do think that in some ways things are getting worse and I don't know if that's about our leaders or us. I think though there are many kind people and some people have been heroic during the pandemic. Stop protesting and stop rallying during the pandemic in the name of the medics who have lost their lives fighting Covid

The true tragedy is out of uniform, many of my fellow service members would be spat on by people who care more about preserving the confederacy than our democracy. My heart hurts in appreciation of their unwavering sacrifice while there are too many who do not support them simply because of the color of their skin.

As a veteran and person of color, I am unmoved by all of these well wishes and appreciations for our service to this country. I've seen too many times how many of us are disregarded outside of our uniforms. We should not need to wear our uniforms or medals everywhere we go, in order to receive the same chances and opportunities as white people. Trump, and those responsible for him being in office, can go to hell. If you truly appreciate ALL OF OUR service to this great nation, say it with your vote! Your words and well wishes mean nothing, if you can't get out and fight to preserve our democracy.
