As a avid heatseeker player I would love a ranked heatseeker. I believe though burn out could happen, in my opinion there should be a permanent LTM mode in casual but have it rotate periodically.

Im sad to see they didnt do anything special with heatseeker and that the game feels stuck for another few years since the extra modes ranked. I really hope to see new rank modes because the game feels stuck. And after grinding the new mechanics, once you can do most of them it gets boring sort of. Only fun with friends but we need something new we can really grind for!

My brother and I play a lot of heatseaker whenever it's available, we love it ! Most of the time he handles demos and I defend the net and I have to say that I enjoy this game mode much more when the other teams tries to demo me because I have to get creative to dodge the demo and still hit the ball, when they keep to their side, it feels more like a stamina mode and it's still cool but less fun. The one thing that bugged me is that the community we came across pictured demos as cheating or "unfair" and they were always getting to insults, I didn't mind much but it's not because it's an LTM that suddenly game mechanics disappears x) thanks for portraying that sledge and I'm open to discuss how you guys feel regarding demos / getting demo-ed

It's actually pretty easy to play around demos because in the higher heatseeker lobbies all you are doing is losing a player when they go for demos all game. There are times that demos can work well though but they have to be done right

Perfect heatseaker= permanent, standard where u can leave whenever u want with no penalty/not competitive, ball max speed increases infinitely, you cant cross over into the opponents side. This is perfect heatseaker

Heatseeker is Incredible. Most of the time the wildest of ideas or simplest mistakes can become the best highlight of a creation. Heatseeker is that for Rocket League. A suggestion to combat the demos; alot of players say to divide the two sides of the pitch and prevent opposing teammates from entering your side. This would destroy the mode and block freestyling. I recommend just removing collisions from player vs player. Simply make players 'ghost' so you can only see there position. A new Heatseeker mechanic, 'Ghosting' .......? 😊

not the first time i've heard that. Demos are part of the game in 3s,2s,1s games. This is HEATSEEKER. You are literally ruining the fun and purpose of the gamemode if u tell me you go for bumps constantly. Unlike other modes, the goal of the game is to win. In this case, people want to win but the main joy is from hitting the insanely fast ball or going for cool shots.

Heat seeker should be a permanent mode, and only because it serves as a crutch for new and low skill players. The standard mode takes a lot of time and practice to get used to. Heat seeker is the standard game simplified. “Here’s the ball, now hit it.” At the very least it should be available in training mode.
