In reference to the fact of OT tournament matches potentially getting decided by the number of shots. The warning that says it will end and be decided by number of shots is set to a timer at the start of the game, not during OT. I had a match that in “regulation” time that warning appeared because I had a teammate that wouldn’t ff and the opponents had no mercy. They scored so many times the game must of assumed we made it to OT because of how long the match was taking.

Yes, that timer is 11 minutes as I stated. This includes replays so I guess if you have a lot of goals scored against you and watch every replay you could reach that time without OT. Though 99% of the time it's going to only show up in an OT situation.

Something like in 12:37 is still happening to me almost every week. that is when before the game starts you're able to hit the ball like in training mode and at there if you make the ball spin and all players have joined while ball is keep spinning, ( by fiftying ball to another car) then ball will keep spinning around without moving away in the kickoff and affect the direction of the ball when you go to kickoff

With regards to the 2v0 at 18:40, I had this in a 2s game once. Their team both left within 30 seconds, so my teammate and I tried to rack up as many goals as we could. We got to about 50-0 when the other guy rejoined with about half a game to go

Great video!! I'd like to add a 41st useless fact where Epic Games decided to remove player trading as it was less beneficial for them monetarily. In fact, this update was so useless that all players didn't even notice it, and the few that did, did not complain at all. Keep up the great work!

another rare glitch i used to abuse a year ago was in the pregame before it started a match, if you hit the ball as soon as it changed gamemodes or games, it would make the ball freak out on kickoff, either sending it to the celing or bouncing depending on how hard you hit it.

Hey man, the level up being 20001 thing....i dont know why, but every so often, sometimes on log in, sometimes after a match, back at the main menu screen, you can see "+1" added to your xp bar. I have no idea why this happens, but its frequent enough that if im looking for it, ill see it once a day at worst.

Okay, so, I've had the spawn thing happen to me in a different game. Believe it or not, it was a Halo: Reach infection game. I spawned behind all the living players bunched up in the corner of the map. Like, literally behind them. What had happened was just that: all the normals spawn points were blocked in some way. But right behind them had one of the only spawn volumes used by non-infected players. Halo had this little feature in Infection where if you died a LOT it would spawn you in closer areas to living players (maybe to help the illusion of being overrun). It just so happened that I had to use an opponent's spawn volume as it was the only other volume that was designated for Infection (when making maps for different gametypes, you had to add seperate spawn volumes that are specifically flagged for the gametype. It was the only gametype with this requirement) Now games give a "weight" for spawn volumes. This weight can be affected by many factors and changes often during the course of the gameplay. This weight determines the likelyhood of you spawning there. Thing is, opponents spawns are given a customizable weight factor and are not technically impossible to spawn in. So, by random chance, this spawn volume was weighted *just low enough* that the player could spawn there. Mathematically it is always possible but very, very, very unlikely to happen. Say I give opponents spawns -100 and mine +100. A player in the volume is -20, and kickoff spawns are flagged as such (and thus don't receive this +100), giving them a weight of 0. Opponents are all nearby though, giving another -10 weight. Suddenly, we've got -100 vs 40 on spawn volumes in this tiny hypothetical It can be fixed by adjusting a few parameters but isn't really necessary if it's happened once over the course of 8+ years. It would actually be more unlikely for him to have spawned on an opponent kickoff spawn Please also note that spawn POINTS and spawn VOLUMES are not the same thing. VOLUMES are given weight, and a POINT is where the player will actually spawn within that volume

hey sledge, i just wanted to point out the fact that psyonix has re-added "silent patches" in the sense where they change something but it's so miniscule, they don't inform us. They re-added demolition boosts to the ball as well as the player. I have been playing a lot more recently and has noticed it since the end of last season. It's sorta inconsistent as to when it takes effect, but i believe it's for when the ball is already in motion and the person next to it is demo'd. I noticed it would gain speed or a different angle. Just wanted to inform tyou

Such good memories, I had rocket league since day 3 of release and the rank system and the overall progression of the game was so promising.. ahh good old memories... Too bad now EpicGames took it all away :\ I wish they would never agree to make the game f2p. It ruined the player-base, it let to major changes, pay-2-skin, micro-payments, blueprints, removal of trading, no new gamemodes, removal of dropshot (Why!?) THE NON-REMOVAL of 4v4 gamemode?!!? whatr??? And by watching this video I now understand why they removed dropshot, because for them it was hard to fix all the weird dropshot game starting in regular fields without opponents. man, they ruin our game. If I could, I would travel back in time to the point where Epic Games were just making Jazz Rabbit game and destroy their company before it will grow to the money-grabbing machine that it is. Fuck fortnite too. I don't care about shared-items or race-games you destroyed an amazing game for lots of players to promote your stupid game with stupid toxic people. don't forget that after almost 9 years of Rocket League there still is NO ANTI-CHEAT and people still use aim-tools and macros and the game devs doing nothing on this topic. shame on you.
