B.B Hood is definitely one of the most interesting characters. Just the very concept of red riding hood as a monster hunter is cool enough. But they had to go the extra mile and make her the most psychotic of the entire cast!

Back when I was a kid, BB Hood was my favorite character in Darkstalkers. With an uzi, a rocket launcher, and a bunch of trip mines, defeating my cousin with Bonnie just had this different level of satisfaction >:)

She was my favourite character in the series, I did like others like Jon Talbain, Rikuo, Morrigan and Felicia, but she was on another level. First time I saw my friend playing as her I burst into laughter, the insane demeanor and over the top attack patterns just made me want to play as her.

seems like Skullgirls had taken ideas/inspiration from darkstalkers, MS. Fortune = Felicia. Squigly = Hsien Ko, and i suppose is all, yet each is different game with own story and original characters ^^

Fun fact, but bb hood is considered the most evil entity in darkstalkers... Yes, in game where there are actual self mutilating demons and otherworldly beings... The 100% human child like being is considered the absolute most evil being.

BB Hood is one of the few Darkstalkers characters you could easily see a standalone video game based around. I could see a 3rd person action-adventure game (perhaps titled "Darkhunters" w/Donovan as a 2ndary selectable character, perhaps?) that plays somewhat similar to Castlevania Lord of Shadows w/some cover-based mechanics added would work really well, I think.

When I first saw B.B. Hood in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, I thought that her full name was supposed to be "Big Bad Hood". (ya know, like The Big Bad Wolf)

Her VA does a really good job of the whole dual personality thing with the way she starts off so sweet but then midway through her voice starts to turn more dark and by the end she's gone full on psycho. I very fondly remember each and every character of Darkstalkers and wish Capcom would pick it back up outside of cameos and crossover projects...but it has to be done right..MvC Infinite is not the graphical way to go for sure.

6:58 I think in one iteration of the Riding Hood tale, the huntsman cut open the wolf to free Red, filled his belly full of stones, then later the wolf drowned. Great series. Very informative and well-edited. Looking forward to some Phobos and Anakaris lore/analysis.

One I would like to see next is Lord Raptor/ Zable. He is very interesting and mixes the comical aspect of the series with the more dark themes like sacrifices and devil worshiping

Savage Beast His power derives from sacrificing the entire audience of his last concert, I think that even himself. This was an offering to Ozom, one of the leaders of the Makai world, so that he could gain power. His main ambition is to acquire power, no matter the cost. And this goes even further as he performed the mass killing in order to please and get the attention of Ozom. Apparently, his ultimate goal is to usurp his place as a lord of the Makai. But the thing is, that even though this is by far the darkest backstory of any character, he still manages to be the most whimsical and absurd character of the whole roster. Remember that a lot of the comedic effect mainly comes from his personality and insane attitude.

Darkstalkers are Tiny Toons, and BB Hood is the crazy girl that wants to hug them, love them, kiss them, squeeze them, until they break. Also, I love the fact that whoever did the artwork near the end of each video decided to place BB Hood as far away from Talbain as possible. Lol
