I have both Autism and ADHD, I tend to get stressed easily(Which Hell's Kitchen probably is one of the worst places to be working in if you have this). I also lose focus and tend to blank out mid action. Of course, some people may be different, but I suspected Raj to have "something" but even I can't say for sure. Raj probably grew up not knowing and/or wasn't helped. Many people on the spectrum has different ways to handle it themselves, mine is playing games,sometimes I have the urge to pace back and forth listening, so I wouldn't be surprised if Raj's is sticking his head in the freezer or doing Karate.

That's what makes people click. And it certainly made YOU click, whether you liked it or not. Clickbait is becoming the norm, and you better get used to it.

Raj might have ADHD which portrays itself as spectrum like but isn't quite on the autistic syndrome. A lot of men with ADHD show a lot of autistic tendencies

ADHD and Autism have a lot of overlap as well, it's not uncommon for Autistics to also have ADHD, hence the term AuDHD. He could have both for all we know, but he was certainly not in the best place in Hell's Kitchen. Whatever he could possibly have going on, it certainly showed that he wasn't fit for that environment

Raj is one my most loveable chef favorites. I honestly believe it is the constant cameras, high pressure that got Raj like mini. But I wish he would have karate chopped Trev for that comment. And I don't blame him for ending the food, saves cooking in the dorm. With the fish, don't think a lot was prepared or either production hide it.. you know for some chaos

I honestly don't think anything was edited out, I honestly believe Ramsay was just lost for words on how bad Raj f'd up with the Dova souls. I'm Autistic and the stuff you mentioned is stuff that I struggle with though I've never stuck my head in the freezer to cool off

Raj is like a real-life Tommy Boy. If no one has seen the late Chris Farley in the 90s film Tommy Boy, I would highly recommend it. Tommy was fat, annoying, not smart but lovable. Raj mirrored Tommy to a T.

Well he does look better now that he has lost a lot of weight. Hell's Kitchen is set up to make you fail if you simply are not good enough. Don't worry though, none of the diners are paying for dinner and the cleaning crew in back of the kitchen are the back up chefs to finish up meals.

I think that Raj was a really nice guy thrown into a pond full of piranhas after the dry season. I have zero doubts that Raj has some impressive talents but a high pressure fast paced kitchen like Hell's Kitchen doesn't appear to be the place where he would be most comfortable or thrive. Even if he is on the Autism spectrum or has ADHD he still needs to respect the health and safety standards of a kitchen and in my opinion he did violate them by putting his head in fridges and freezers where the ingredients were being stored. Knowing that a chef responsible for creating my meal was putting their head/face/hair near or in direct contact with the components of my meal would definitely turn my stomach.

Mental illness or not, everyone is treated the same on the show by Ramsey. In such a high pressure environment as a professional kitchen, there is no room for being gentle and kind. You get praise if you do good, and you get yelled at when you fuck up. Not only would Raj have been told this before signing up to Hell's Kitchen, but he should've k own from watching the previous seasons anyway. It also doesn't help that multiple times Raj has boasted that he's the most experienced. He keeps saying that even after he fucks up. And so he comes off as very condescending. The blue team is already stressed enough about the cameras on them, as well as service and keeping Ramsey happy with them, because if one person fucks up they could all get punished for it. So while I don't agree with some of the words that were said by the team to Raj, I can understand where they're coming from. As should you.
