Agreed, Jesus did it for free. This man is Bob Larson, he is well known in the Christian community and has been doing deliverances for many, many years. The Christian community, in general, got upset or questioned him once he started doing it "for show" per se. Meaning he used to just do deliverances and for free, but after time he went on tv and started doing it by sort of interviewing the demons and having long talks with them etc. Christians felt this was not right. He's been traveling with his ministry for decades and it's mostly all been recorded for his weekly tv show Bob Larson is his name, the show has been going for decades. He's written many books and is quite well known in the Christian community. His books are well written and researched too. It could also be rather dangerous to do an exorcism if the other person is alone. He may have been around a while, but that doesn't mean he's trustworthy. Why do you trust him so much? Men don't warrant blind faith. Only God warrants that.

When I got out of the military, I fellowshipped in a church that did exactly this stuff this guy is doing. I soon found out that it was a bunch of malarkey. When you believe you have something “in you” then you will act this way. It was all the power of suggestion and hyper emotions. Many good families got hurt and some to this day are still not right. When you stray from the Bible and give power to another person OVER you, then your troubles are just beginning.

Good points! The Power of Suggestion is HUGE. To get more $$$ for the offering, keep people scared and manipulated, to NOT question anything the pastor teaches. This is the kind of stuff that is actually the stuff of human evil and maybe outright tactics of spiritual evil. It is the subtle-not-so-dramatic stuff that is still poisonous. The Bible does teach that it a part of the battle with the Flesh. I will add: Wishful Thinking / Confirmation Bias. Which ties in to choosing a more superficial and safe place to reside in one's spiritual journey. I can see how tempting it is to stay put and let others do one's thinking for them, but...is it true and honest with God? Life is still about connecting with God to overflowing and sharing that Love and Power with others. ( Which possibly could be about an actual need for exorcism, but you gotta weed through the drama kings/queens in discernment along the way. )
