I run ARP musashi on hizen, with Cunningham and di revel. Musashi buffs the spotter plane duration, as well as buffs the grouping/dispersion while the spotter plane is in the air

If you can you try using godzilla as inspiration im curious how that will work since godzilla buffs the spotter plane duration so more Salvo per plane plus reduces cool downtime so more planes in the sky faster. I missed out on getting Musashi for commander and so I'm not getting godzilla but I would to know how that setup will work. Please if you can or spartan can please try it out and let me know

@@justinbarrett1292 I have both. Either one will cannot give you more than two salvos per plane. All you can get is more time to aim those salvos while the plane is up. (Godzilla must be used as an inspiration since the spotter buff is a base trait while Musashi's spotter duration buff is a row 4 skill.) There's only one setup in the game that can add a third salvo in one spotter plane and I believe and its on VII Monarch requiring both reducing it's already fast reload with (maxed 16/4) inspiration di Revel and double buffing the spotter using (12/2+)AL Queen Elizabeth's Sky Watch skill and (16/1+) Godzilla as an inspiration as well. ARP Musashi is unique in that it adds more accuracy to the shot than the spotter already includes. I personally use ARP Musashi (13/1) with Godzilla (13/1) and AL Scharnhorst (16/3). This setup yields a 37.6s Spotter plane on Hizen for reference. As a result, I only use this setup on VIII Musashi itself. TLDR; Its not as great as it seems. Running Takagi as suggested will be more reliable and fun than running a gimmick spotter setup. Have fun out there!

Yeah, I noticed this about the traverse. They start turning during the Meiji Restoration Period and finish up about the time of the Russo-Japanese War. 😂 Has a decent number of secondaries plus some big ones at the rear. Might try to respec for secondaries. On the subject of the 32mm deck armor. For those curious, if 32mm can be ANGLED it can protect. However, that deck is flat as a pane of board and will only put up a little more resistance to plunging fire.

Hizen (He-zen), together with her sister ship Iwami, in WOWS, are based on two of the preliminary A-140 designs that lead to the Yamato-class battleships. She gets the general armament and hull design of the A-140-J3 with four main battery turrets in AB-XY configuration for the main battery and then three triple 155 mm secondary turrets around the Y turret. However, she gets the main armament of twelve 410mm main guns installed on 4 triple turrets. According to the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922, the ratio of battleship fleets of the U.S.; Great Britain; and Japan was fixed at 15:15:9 units respectively. Being unable to achieve numerical superiority over their possible adversaries, the Japanese admirals staked their plans on the qualitative superiority of their ships in accordance with their Kantai Kessen or “decisive battle" doctrine. The doctrine presupposed that the outcome of a war would be decided after the main enemy forces had been defeated in a general engagement of battleship fleets. Confidence in the success of this plan was based on their experience of previous wars, including the Russo-Japanese War. Admiral Yamamoto Isoroku, and other high-ranking officers who opposed the idea of placing faith in battleships in the future war, found themselves outnumbered both militarily and politically. The Japanese High Command expected that their "super-battleship" would surpass all the existing counterparts in terms of firepower and survivability. The first projects for a ship like this were prepared in the late 1920s. All of them surpassed the treaty displacement of 35,000 tons, and had powerful armor and gun calibers that varied in size from 410 to 510 mm. In 1934, the Japanese High Command secretely decided to renounce the treaty's restrictions and develop a project that would definitely be superior to any foreign counterpart. They counted on the assumption that the United States' ability to build battleships would be limited by the width of the Panama Canal. One of those projects-A-140J-3-preceded the Yamato-class battleships.

Hizen along with Iwami and Izumo is not a yamato class hull, it was one of the designs the Japanesse considered while picking the battleship that would suit their doctrine the best. There are several difrences beetween the Iwami and Yamato hull, Yamato is slightly larger, it has a higher freeboard, Yamatos stearn is significantly thicker and tge whole bow is completely diffrent.

Hizen also has the same accuracy as Maine not kansas but it doesn't get ploting room mod so it feels worse.

As far as the island maneuvers it depends where at in the cap if I take the high side of the island or the low side to create a crossfire

Just a small nitpick here SpartanElite43, the Flower decoration on the Bow of Japanese Ships is NOT a Sakura Blossom, it is a Chrysanthemum. The symbol of the Imperial house of Yamato is the Chrysanthemum, and the Throne of the Emperor is called the Chrysanthemum Throne. Love your vids, keep up the good work!

So came back to rewatch this aa I could not find a fit between my iwami capt. (Haruna, van hipper, scharnhorst) and my Yama capt. ( Ap Yamato, new jerssy neptune). Seeing the poor gun performance I just tried my Amagi capt. That was the first good fit. Fusa (replaceable for better base trait) the rest is what fixes the shotgun effect; flammaable cannonier, crisscross, marksmanship, reaching out XXL, fire/fire, Queen Elisabeth, Scarnhorst. Then play it like an Amagi. Found this a better fit then trying to fit it into Iwami or Yamato playstyles. Play it like a t8 amagi all accuracy. Good luck.

I think everyone should practice playing cruisers because that will teach you map awareness. You get dev struck enough times you are gonna learn to pay attention to what is around you and who can shoot you before you commit to firing your guns and giving away your position

As a destroyer main, I wouldn't go into the cap either unless you're in team chat and letting me know that you're going to support me. Both destroyers on the red team had sonar.

Iwami was a better value campaign ship by far imho...at least it has the torps . But like you I'm pretty much done with tier VIII and Lgendary ..unless I fancy taking the Repub out for a spin to cheer myself up.

I have an all-out accuracy build because I HATE the trll-shots you occasionally get from the Japanese. The turret traverse is still slow, but ill take it for the ludicrously accurate railguns I get nearly every volley.

So dumb that no ships can have good AA unless they are American. Have you thought about using the new ARP Yamato commander she has gun traverse and dispersion combo inspiration. But main thing this ship is missing to make it competitive is the heals 2 small heals with the low health pool makes this ship not really competitive.

I believe I said that in the video but you gotta give folks room to maneuver I try to turn away to angle and he's in the way I can't dodge him at that point. In this instance it didn't matter but it is frustrating to try and avoid damage only to run into a teammate and take damage because of it
