It's not cool to slap anyone irrespective of their gender. However, judging the fact that she slapped him first, and that too without a good reason, just because they did not want to carry out a conversation with her, he had every right to slap her back, and even as a girl I fully support his actions- it was a very normal reaction! He shouldn't feel sorry just because it was a girl! I am quite sure if it had been a girl, who slapped a guy, we would have the whole media idolizing her without even a backstory. This happens almost everywhere. You guys want equal rights in everything and that's good but you're taking it without the burden of being a man. You want to be paid equal or better then your male colleagues yet you don't want the pressure or rotational shifts for example.
