This was worth the watch just for the idea to use the LED light bars for the address bit indicators instead of discrete LEDs. A big reduction in clutter.

Isn't 4 amps too much current?

The 4 amps that the PSU is rated for means "up to 4 amps", using less is OK. The breadboard does not actually use 4 amps at all times, it only draws as much as it needs, which is nearly zero with the setup shown in the video.
