The head shake was fun! Are the Bobby pins heavy in your hair? They look beautiful. I just wonder about the weight because I just end up taking things out that feel heavy.

I don't find them to feel heavy. Since they stay put, they don't pull down. If you're concerned about feeling the weight of them, you could try one with a smaller decorative end like the circle stone set I showed in my hand to start.
