Americans use Jam to describe preserves that contain whole fruit where Jelly is made from fruit juice. Icing is a thinner topping made of sugar that is drizzled over pastries where frosting is a thicker whipped topping usually used on cakes and cupcakes

The seeds are called coriander in North America and the answer to the question is what the leaves and stem are called.

And as a practical matter, if used in Mexican cuisine (stems and leaves), the Spanish word cilantro, if used in Indian cuisine (generally ground seeds), the British term coriander.
