Here's day 2 of the Polyglot Conference vlog series. Yay! It was the first day with talks and presentations by fellow polyglots. I share some clips here. My talk is on day 3, so stay tuned for the next video.
I included all the instagram or KZbin details of the awesome polyglots I met in the video, so do check them out!
What I learnt at Polyglot Conference blog post: lindiebotes.com/2019/10/25/po...
Polyglot Conference playlist: • Books, stationery & be...
Subtitles for other language parts are coming soon!
Here's my last vlog from #PolyglotConference 2019 in Fukuoka, Japan. I gave my speech that day, but the full speech will be uploaded on the Polyglot Conference channel on KZbin later. Enjoy some snippets from the event! Btw, it seems lots of people are asking if they can join this event if they're not a polyglot - of course you can! The conference is open to anyone interested in languages. We're all still learning and it's a great way for us to get together and share our love of languages.

What a cool thing. I never would have even considered becoming a polyglot until I saw your channel, Lindie. But I've recently realized how passionate I am about so many cultures/languages so maybe after Norwegian I'll start another one. Looks fun. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great video. Just out of curiosity, what level of proficiency in each language does one need to obtain in order to legitimately claim that one is a polyglot? If someone is at the level of a beginner in some languages, should he or she be considered a polyglot?

Lindie Botes Then you admit it’s imaginary 🤨. (I’m struggling with Korean right now). I guess I could totally make it to Mexico seeing as how it’s just a hundred miles away or so. Is it ok to carry in Mexico? I read about all the violence etc.
