As you said, he's the perfect backcourt partner for Trae. He is what the Hawks were hoping for when they originally traded for Dejounte. And he is only 21 years old. Great trade by the Hawks.
@bzaustАй бұрын
His ability to fight through screens has been elite. Hope it keeps up. He's exactly the guard that ATL was hoping to get when they traded for Dejounte.
@CourtsideChaseАй бұрын
@@bzaust I agree with everything you said. He's probably been even better than what the Hawks were expecting at this point. I really hope he keeps it up too, he's playing himself into a really nice extension that's gonna be coming sooner than later

great vid man. Really well informed. It's been nice seeing Dyson get the opportunity he needed to really break out.
@CourtsideChaseАй бұрын
Thank you! That really means a lot. I always thought Dyson was gonna break out eventually with pelicans but they kept adding so many new players he wasn't getting his shot. It's awesome to see him thriving now. Hes only 21 too, this is only the beginning

One of the most underrated players in the league .. 100% another one is Anthony Black. Watch these 2 over the next years.

Leads the league in deflections? He gave my Celtics fits a few days ago, I came away impressed.
@CourtsideChaseАй бұрын
That was his best game so far this season for sure. No Trae Young and dominated on both sides of the floor to get the win. Everything came together for him in that one
@rantsreviews3573Ай бұрын
@@CourtsideChase I know it's a small sample but I actually like the Hawks better without Trae, he just hogs the gravity too much. I thought they looked alright when everyone else HAD to step up.
@CourtsideChaseАй бұрын
@@rantsreviews3573 It's honestly hard to say, although the offense always flows through Trae whenever he's on the court, he is still creating well over 20 shots for the rest of the team. Without those potential assists the ball does swing around more but it doesn't necessarily always create a better shot. I think they should finish the season together and see what happens before making any major moves like that
@rantsreviews3573Ай бұрын
@@CourtsideChase really talented player, puts up awesome stats, I just don't see or feel his impact on winning games

@rantsreviews3573 even most of us Hawks fans like it when Trae's out. But we know Trae wins more games than he loses

Dyson is a point guard Trade Trae
@CourtsideChaseАй бұрын
Why not keep both? Who do you want to trade Trae for?
@og-reacts5824Ай бұрын
@CourtsideChase Trae hurts Dyson with his defense. I say trade Trae and train Dyson as a point guard. He is 21 and has a higher ceiling than Trae.
@CourtsideChaseАй бұрын
@@og-reacts5824 Trae's offense a lot of the times outweighs his lack of defense. Having an elite defender like Dyson next to an offensive focused player like Trae is perfect for them in my opinion. This is their first season together, might as well see what they look like together first. Not sure who they could trade Trae for that's gonna make them better immediately
@thesecretwombat056Ай бұрын
@@og-reacts5824 Trae gives so much on the offensive end. The defence will eventually work its way out when they all get used to playing with each other and jalen johnson, dyson and zach all keep improving defensively since their young
@og-reacts5824Ай бұрын
@thesecretwombat056 Dyson is the foundation to a top 10 defense, Trae makes them at best 15.
