Pistols are kind of based on British punk rock band Sex Pistols, famous for songs like Anarchy in the UK (and their singer Johnny Rotten, hence the weird names). They seem to be based on _political_ anarchism, that is, according to that ideology the organizations should be reduced the basic level; citizens' councils (as opposed to levels of government), worker's councils or syndicates (as opposed to multiple levels of management), soldiers' councils (who would vote who would lead the unit), things like that. But also things like free education and medical care. Cyberfox is also based on real-life club. Of course, the word "anarchist" was connected to what we today would call "terrorists" because some self-proclaimed anarchists did bomb places and, in fact, were the first to use newly-fangled thing called automobile to flee the scenes of their crime in the beginning of the 20th century. Which made other anarchists actually tell everything they knew to the police.

Apache Alice, Captain Reasonable, Ariel Rotten, John Stutter and Polly Ester are all pretty blatant British punk rock references. Then there's their quests, like Here's The Pistols, Anarchy in the UK and Guns Of Lewisham.

They def watch him, because they were annoyed when he didn't follow installation procedure and all the brand names on cartons etc hadn't been changed. He made a big deal about it, virtually called them lazy, but he'd done the installation wrong! The dev called Saffron sounded a bit irritated about that, but Oxhorn did say he'd got it wrong in his next episode, so fair enough. I think the devs like him. ;-)

The developers have even made the character look like Siouxie Sioux, and the reference to the Sex pistols and punk is brilliant linked to Camden

40:02 Part way into the video and I want to hopefully reach out to Oxhorn in hopes he hasn't started the lost tommies quest. Some of that quest is still bugged but the beginning part of the quest isn't cleat what you should be doing. If it helps and hopefully this does just shoot below the red light when trying to find the fuse that needs resetting. If you're still unsure when you get to this part definitely check a walk through. For me and I think a few others there just wasn't anything to point out what one should do. Anyone hope this helps.

Love what you're doing, Oxhorn. Keep up the good work. Two tips that might help you in your playthrough: 1. If you're having trouble seeing in dark places when using the torch, unequip it & use the light from your ATTA-Boy because it's much brighter. 2. Finish everything you want before finishing the main quest because there's no functional post-game ending; after the ending slides & end credits, the game will bring you right back to the title screen.

I remember reading somewhere that the "Lost Tommies" sidequest was pretty bad in terms of difficulty vs. reward. Something about hard to open doors and constant radiation.

It's basically a club that sells clothes,my friend went there and said there were hired dancers and a DJ playing. Not sure if this is a daily thing but it was full of tourists that day hahaha

hey oxhorn idk if you'll read this, but i really liked your fallout videos and how you go through everything and all the lore, especially the fallout 1 and 2 series, i was wondering if you could make similar series on the atom rpg and sequal, since they're so inspired from fallout 1 and 2 and made by fans of those games clearly, and have a lot of decisions and lore to go through

Hi Oxhorn. Thanks for the videos. Here are a few Easter eggs references that may be relevant to the next quests. Palmira Romero is based on the real live musician Palmolive from “The Slits” and Captain Reasonable is based on Captain Sensible from “The Damned” (I’ve actually met him in person. Nice man). These are two very influential punk bands and I love how they are being added to the game.

If he was really worried about the main quest taking to long maybe he should consider not spending so episodes on exploring unrelated locations. This isn't to say I hate those episodes (though to be frank I have been losing interesting), its just that it is silly to be concerned about how many episodes it will be now after all that exploring. Its worth calling out. If he really feels that way he should focus on the main quest alone and just pay Clifford. If he doesn't then I guess that isn't really a concern...
