Obama after Bush 2 and now Biden after trump. Corporate profits are at its highest because of trump yet wages are stagnant and we have more jobs. you have to wonder whether what seems to be the least significant of the trump trials isn't going to have an effect on DJT's mental and physical health. He's not exactly the most fit 78 year old you've seen and with his short fuse, having to sit in court day after day and hear what's said about him and what he did has to raise his BP, particularly because the Trump family women are not likely to be the most understanding.

Though, she's finally done it for me and my Sundays with today's show!!! I really enjoyed it, for it was very well structured and earmarked! Most men in Ukraine are banned from leaving the country under martial law that was declared after the Russian invasion nearly two years ago. But some men who don’t want to fight in the war have taken risky journeys over the border into Moldova and other countries to avoid being called up to serve. If caught by Ukrainian border guards, the men would be detained, fined and possibly sent to jail. Those who evaded the draft would be placed on a register and could face restrictions when it comes to owning property or using a vehicle. The court could also order their bank accounts and assets to be frozen. Nearly two years after Russia launched its attack on Ukraine, both countries are locked in a war of attrition. Ukraine’s military leaders say they need as many as 500,000 more soldiers to relieve exhausted troops and replace the tens of thousands killed and injured on the front line. To help accomplish this, the government is mulling a contentious new mobilization bill that would make more men eligible for conscription and include additional sanctions for those who evade military service. While the majority of men between the ages of 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving the country, according to officials from four countries bordering Ukraine, more than 25,000 have crossed out illegally by traversing fields, forests and rivers, often in the middle of the night and sometimes with the help of a smuggler. In the early days of the war, enthusiastic crowds enlisted to defend the country, but as the war has dragged on, the pool of volunteers has dried up.

It is incompressible to put a time limit of when the war in Ukraine could end, people have to understand that it is a very difficult issue since Russia is the aggressor and they do not let go easily. Even if the US was fighting Russia it would not be easy to put a time limit.

I am really surprised & disappointed by some of the question she asked, never expected this level of stupidity on this show. Really she need to ask those question to which the answer is basically the same. Depends on when they physically get the weapons systems. Its the Americans that are acting like the old soviets. When they would famously send 50 to 60 thousand men to the front lines with one riffle to share between two or three soldiers. Those who remember their history classes will know that did not end well.

@BrettNick9 ай бұрын
This bill really goes back to the US with all weapons being built there. So GDP growth for the US 🎉( if you’re into such things). Europe is giving a lot and building supply chains for war but does not have the amount of factories yet compared to the US. So in the mean time of that being done we democracies has to stick together and protect and build a safer world. Right now that means this bill which, as I said, will favor American economy a lot. Just curious: when you say “the same amounts as we”, do you mean “the same amount compared to the size of each economy? Or just “the same amount”? Let’s stick together, for a free democratic future 🇺🇸🇪🇺 🇬🇧 🇺🇦
@The_PaleHorseman9 ай бұрын

Well why don't you fact checking before making idiotic statements bc our NATO allies just stepped forward and pledged more money bc they didn't know if the US was going to be able to fulfill their part.... Denmark even gave most of their ammunitions to Ukraine with the NATO secretary General pledging $100 billion in long-term assistance currently being opposed by Hungary.

Thank you, Meet the Press, for providing President Zelenskyy with an opportunity to speak after what should have been six months ago a no brainer vote for aid to a historic one albeit, those who delayed it will be remembered and not supported. This sends a strong signal to putin and the ordinary russian soldier that Ukraine is back in the war. Right, it depends upon what is provide to Ukraine. When I was in Kramatorsk in July of 2023 of the Donbas, I predicted the counter offense would stall because Ukraine had not been given the weapons it needed to counter the russian orcs. Time line is a good question but one must ask whether the Untied States and others will give Ukraine what it needs. There is likely going to be times in the next year when Ukraine will ask for weapon systems that either they did not get or did not get enough of. WWII was a constant resupplying of the soldiers at the fronts and the supply lines. The battle zone is nearly 1000 miles long. The commanders in France, Belgium, Italy and North Africa asked for more equipment and they were given them. The tanks need to be improved and over time the tank teams got better tanks, including the Shermans. The question I have is and others have asked is when will President Biden and others, including Secs Blinken and Austin say the United States is going to support Ukraine so it can win. The goal is for Ukraine. Ukraine is not in a war to prolong it so that more Ukrainians are killed, whether citizens or soldiers and more infrastructure and buildings are destroyed. I am sure we all know what freedom and liberty means in America and some of us need to think harder what it would be like without freedom and liberty as is true in russia.
