Ten boys from Spokane, Washington, started playing tag decades ago and have kept up the same game through adulthood. Three members of the group, who call themselves the "tag brothers," join Megyn Kelly TODAY to talk about how the game began, persisted and made its way to the big screen. The members, who are now all in their 50s, are portrayed in the forthcoming movie “Tag,” starring Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, Ed Helms, Jake Johnson and Hannibal Buress.

Me and my best friend do this. But we play a joke on each other every year. Nothing is off limits. We have to have it done between our birthdays which is 6 mo apart. We can include as many people or family members. We don't cause each other harm or do things to hurt feelings. Thanks to me. :) I took it to far one year. I disappeared for month. I didn't speak to him, for that period of time, and then had a friend of mine send him a msg that my cell phone was found and it was broken and she wanted to know if he had heard from me. I let it play out and he called several times and you could hear the stress in his voice each time on my voicemail. The joke was that he would be called and told that I had an asthma attack and died. He knows I have really bad asthma. Now my uncle owns a funeral home, and we asked him to use the viewing room. I got my best suite, and they put me in the casket. We had flowers all in the room, NO WE DIDN'T TAKE THEM FROM SOMEONE ELSE. My uncle put the make up and this stuff on my lips to seal my mouth close, so I would laugh or smile. I had my glasses on and the light were high so they looked tinted, but I kept them closed. His sister was in on the joke, and some of my friends were there aswell. They played the part very well. So when his sister brought him in, she was going to walk up to the casket with him and touch my hand. At that time I was to sit up in the casket. So my friend is 6.5, he is a jock. I had to admit i felt bad for a min, because he was crying. So his sister touch me and i sprung up. He fainted! I could say anything my mouth was closed, so it sounded like mumbles, I guess that added to the effect. LOL. He didn't speak to me for 6 mo after that. When he did he said that I crossed the line and we agreed that we would keep the jokes simple after that. But I explained to him that I had to do it and get him back for what he did to me the following year. I fall asleep in cars when I am a passenger. He has a friend that works at a train station. One night I feel asleep in the car and he drove to where is friend works. Park the car on the tracks locked the doors and got out. I awoke to the sound and sites of a train coming straight at me. I didn't know at the time that it was on a different track and would not hit, me. I panicked and found out that I was locked in and couldn't get out. So I think my joke was justified. :) We are still the best of friends and will always be....Some bonds can't be broken even by crazy jokes.
