Wouldn’t be a bad idea for Chris to be a supplier for resellers, that may reduce sorting problem.

Totally agree - I would DEFINATELY buy from Chris. I sell FT on WN..... I don't want people to get discouraged. You DO NOT Need 100 people in your streams to make money. Number of people in a stream do not equate to amount of money you an make. I make the most money with under 40 in my stream. I myself am in dire need of inventory.

Wow, this is one of the best videos I have ever watched. I have been selling online since the 90's and I don't know anybody who does what I do, lives like I do, or thinks like I do. It was so refreshing to see I'm not as crazy as I thought I was. lol I also sell from home in a very rural mountain community and my warehouse is a 40' shipping container on my property. Most of my house is used for my business in some way and after seeing Caitie's apartment, I'm not so embarrassed about it. lol It is what is, this is my life! And Chris, your comment about how much it costs to spend time with your kids! I laughed out loud because, OMG, it's so true! I never had kids, because I liked working more. Time is money. I know how much each minute of the day is worth. I was at your level of sales and doing it all by myself on Amazon before they opened up selling to China. I lost 1/2 my sales in the first year. Internet selling changes so fast and keeping on top of trends is so important. I know I have to get into making videos but I'm an introvert, so that is a huge struggle for me. Thanks to shows like this I am getting there. Thank you both for putting out this video, it was refreshing and inspiring for an old school seller like me. :)

Thanks for the interview, I just don't understand why every time you interview someone you have to compare them with yourself. I think is better to ask questions and understand the person's business and learn their trajectory than listen to the same history that we already know.

Interesting thought on the conversation you both had on who is in front of the camera while doing streaming on WhatNot. Chris: I have gone to a couple of your WhatNot shows and pretty much left shortly after arriving because YOU are not doing the presentations. I have no idea who your presenters are and I came to see YOU... you always throw in tips and tricks and good advice and I want to see that! Even if you were in the background and just chimed in a little bit throughout the show, I might stay longer. This is just a thought I had the other day when I was cruising through WN and came across one of your shows with you not in it at all. Keep up the good work!

Im no one or any group, but isnt this the guy that teaches everyone about EBAY??...... im just confused. Bless this girl whether she comes from a good start or not, she is putting in the work....but my question is doesnt alot of people pay him monthly to teach about eBay?? Im assuming most people watching are ebay sellers, that whole discouraging part about making a living selling 5-10 items a day, if you follow his model would not be 30,000. A year? and him AGREEING but has sold a whole program to people on how to be successful at resell is very off putting to say the least. Or im I wrong? I truly hope it's just me, and i misunderstood that part.......... I can usually get inspiration from you, I do not sell online I had a brick n morter resale, and have watched a few of your videos so I'm just trying to understand, sounds like your moving more of your business model to fast live sells, if so good luck!

I just found out about Whatnot a few days ago and I’m already hooked! I just bought a few things from her the other day to re-sell, love her! Lol As much as I want the platform to keep growing, I also almost want to keep it a secret, b/c I am worried that if big NWT or NWOT brands like BlankNYC, Good American, Skims, Free People, Savannah Morrow, etc… are not going to like seeing their products being sold for such good deals to where people no longer want to buy it at retail cost. I wonder if there would ever be a negative reaction to brands kinda like Michael Kors got, when they started to oversaturate the market. Will brands start to reduce their selling to liquidation companies? Or will brands/companies themselves just start to run auctions of their overstock to try to cut out the re-seller…maybe like a Dollskill? Very interesting that influencers are backing this; really makes me think of how big they’re trying to scale it….like even imagine if big twitch steamers brought their audiences to it to sell stuff, it would be madness! Lol So I totally see Catie’s point that there will be really big sellers and then really small sellers and not much in between, which is a little sad, and I hope more ppl can get a slice of the pie. Great interview!
@brealexandria11 ай бұрын
Even if brands did start to cut back, I think thrift type auctions will still remain in good standing!
