Hey Ruslan. I’m a year and a half from being on my death bed a few months after losing my 22 yo son which was short of a year from losing my dad…I know a thing or two about pain and loss. I know you got plenty of support and don’t need nothing from some rando on the net but I’m praying for you and yours. Love you brother.

Faith this is my favorite series of yours!! So grateful for scholars like Dan Wallace!! When Wes mentioned CSNTM on Joe Rogan I smiled ear to ear!!! I went from not ever hearing of CSNTM to hearing about it twice in one week. God is definitely orchestrating all of this and opening hearts with Jesus being shared on such a huge platform! The timing of your videos with Dan coming out was so perfect. I’m enjoying these so much! ❤

The CSNTM link Wes shared with Joe Rogan is priceless. It's what I want on my phone like you get with Bible software. I use e-Sword on my PC and MySword on my phone. It's hard to get presentations to the arguments as to why some scholars say some books are authentic or not.

His comment about doctoral students who have not received a solid background, I believe it is yhe same in our churches. We are doing a very poor job of equipping our children, teens, and young adults to handle the world. We are not giving them a proper foundation so they end up being swayed by every wind of doctrine. Thank you for sharing this!

Beale is obviously top tier. Dr Michael Heiser has a book “John’s Use of the Old Testament in the Book of Revelation”… Here’s an overview: “New Testament scholars know the writer of the book of Revelation frequently makes use of the Old Testament. That awareness is not at all common for many of its readers. As with much of its content, though, the issue is not as straightforward as one might presume. For example, scholars regularly note that, despite hundreds of links back into the Old Testament on the part of John, the author of Revelation, none of the links are direct, word-for-word complete citations. Often, the citations are more allusions than quotations, and John frequently combines them so that their meaning in his mind is not intuitive to today’s reader. Scholars specializing in this field have devised various approaches to understand John’s use of the Old Testament, a crucial requirement to comprehending the book’s meaning and theology. The goal of this book, utilizing the scholarly sources employed in the Naked Bible Podcast series on the topic, is to provide readers with a solid Scripture based grasp of this enigmatic New Testament book.”
