Most of them mean togetherness and harmony as can be seen in many cornrows gathering into a ponytail. Sadly I've not personally met anyone to explain this correlation but all African stylist when we braid instrinctly the styles all match the pattern of writing. I guess when you have no pen and paper you find a way to express your thoughts 😊.
