@@nilsnyman6767 fucked up? You're sick ! She has d.i.d , something you can't control , this is no laughing matter , just imagine being like her , those personalities are created to protect the "original" personality , in order to protect the heart , the brain creates them to protect her , means she has no control over it . Just because she has a disability doesn't mean she has no right to be happy , there are some people who accept others as thet are! Maybe he loved her 'real' self , stop assuming things 😑

she should have a functional brain scan done. alot of people with head injuries HAVE mental health issues like this. i know she dealt with abuse growing up to and part of that could have been a bad head injury. hyperbaric oxygen and a proper way to rebuild the brain can really help her. dr daniel amen is a genius in treating brain and mental health issues

People may be atheists as much as they can, but please don't make misconceptions. This IS a mental disorder. You may not believe what i say cause you are an atheist, however when a demon posseses the person they usually do harm or harmful things to others. Jamie Smith it’s not that simple, DID is a disorder that is painful in so many ways. You might get flashbacks, you might never get time in the body, you might have too many things going on in the inner world. You have to think about the whole systems feelings for decisions and you don’t always get your way. You do NOT want DID, and if you still believe you want it, look at the struggles of others by either researching it or watching videos made by systems themselves.

Adam Konze I've actually seen dogs and other animals respond to switches as if someone else had walked into the room. There's a documentary with a police officer who has DID, with his main personality being John and one of his child personalities being Johnny. John had trained his dog to stay out of the living room, but while they were filming in the living room Johnny came out to talk to the crew. While Johnny was out the dog sensed that John was no longer present and came into the living room so Johnny could pet him. When John came back out, the dog left, just like he had been trained to do. It was so fascinating.

Could it be she's a victim of the mental health system? I've been through the same things, years of therapy, been told I had DID, which I think is a bogus disorder. My life improves when I'm not dependent on therapy. I miss sometimes sitting with a therapist to talk but these people just do so much harm. Just my experience. I was diagnosed when I was 19 and I'm 50 now. My first psych unit visit was when I was just 13 for running away from school. That was the beginning of many years in the mental health system, receiving every major mental health disorder, medicated into a stupor, given truth serum drugs to get me to remember memories I supposedly forgotten. All of those years in therapy and I never improved. I improved when I refused to see anymore therapists. I think therapy is the biggest modern day scam. These therapists are never held accountable. I hope your daughter is doing better and I'm sorry.

Mark Sapigao although this is true, the person still has a personality belonging solely to them. someone doesnt become this way by birth. trauma causes this illness & although every case is distinct, there is always a true self living un the center. people can't remember their dissociative episodes because they've since returned to their true selves. we must be careful not to condemn the fact that DID sufferers are normal people.

The problem with mental disorders is that every mind is different. What is normal for 1 person with multiple personalities isn't necessarily normal for all. It isn't our place to judge whether she is "faking" it or not. She obviously was severely abused as a child and it left her broken in many ways. If switching back and forth between the personalities every couple of minutes helps this woman live...who are we to judge?

Oh! Also, sharing memories is something alters can do with the host/original. I had an alter show me memories. Through therapy, I'm now able to be conscious inside my head and see the innerworld so the alters have shown me memories through videos inside. Sometimes you can gain memories through dreams if the alters communicate that way. I'v been going to my therapist for around two years and we've made a lot of progress. It's amazing what therapy can do with D.I.D.

I spent a month in a psyche ward . While there I met a young man with six personalities. They didn't have different voices and all we're good with the exception of one who he couldn't control...he was a kind and gentle man..

Omg I remember meeting her when I was in 7th grade! I live in Washington, and I remember her coming to my English class after learning about different mental illnesses, and I thought she was so cool. Like, I loved how she got along with all her different alters. I met almost all of them and they were all so nice. It was definitely an amazing experience, and I've had such a fascination ever since.

I love how this shows that switches aren't always super dramatic events, that some alters/headmates can dip in and out with little to no trouble

I can imagine having one personality that puts the toilet paper going down and another that puts it going up and getting super mad when I got to take a shit.
