Exactly! I am a student in Bulgaria, in the 9th grade and it's completely different in here! This looks so welcoming and hospitable, as a workspace. Both of the schools I've been at (primary and now high school) have the same "layout" - tables for all of the students, 2 students per table, a single whiteboard, behind the teacher's desk. Sometimes there are special classes, or we go to one of the few rooms, equipped with a projector (either a meetings' room or an IT room) and I'd love to have her as a teacher, doesn't really matter that I'm not in the 2nd/4th grade anymore. She's so caring, and dedicated - sadly I have had only a couple of teachers like her (out of maybe 50, during my whole "student career".

Just my opinion for what worth....children need to learn from diverse teachers. Male, female, young and old, all races etc. It helps them become more well rounded for many reasons. GO FOR IT!!! If you can change a child's life, they won't care if you are male or female!

Meet the Teacher is really just a chance to see the classroom and meet the teacher. During Back to School night we give information about curriculum and information about our grade!

Why do the students have 4 different teachers? Do they all rotate rooms like in high school? Aren’t they a little young for that? In Australia children in primary school (pre-primary to year 6) have one classroom teacher and specialty teachers like sport or music will take them to either the oval or the music room.

Chyanne Marie Interesting- I suppose there are both advantages and disadvantages. It might be harder to build a relationship with students and young children might find it difficult moving from class to class and from teacher to teacher, especially if there are different rules, procedures and seating arrangements in each class. I suppose it would be good having teachers be very specialised in certain areas though. Some of our bigger primary schools have specialty language, drama, science, dance, technology, health, arts, music and PE teachers so we are almost getting that way!
