Except a lot of DDs and pretty much all cruisers have sonar and can dpot you while you can't see them

@@SpartanElite43 hey spartan a suggestion run fulgosi I run it with veneto at 16/3 so i have quick fix, squids ink that will put your smoke at 75 seconds duration and then the best part either run glass cannon to improve your dispersion or stand or fall to decrease the reload finnally smoke on the water and unsstopabble as inspirations cunnigham and i run sims but you can run von hipper too

I think it's a good ship, the whole italian BB line is fun and refreshes the whole BB experience because of the new mechanics and consumables they offer. And maybe just a little bit more of range on those secondaries will be perfect i'd say 0.5 km will do it, there's no need to give this ship the ability to shoot from 10km away because of the low calliber on those 90mm and because you don't set fires. At close range they hit hard and do they job.

I wonder if he'd have more secondary success with the Tier VI Italian BB instead (I forget her name). One of the problems with those 152 mm SAP shells is that they can only penetrate a max of 47 mm of armor and a lot of Tier VII BB's have 50 mm armored decks.

I spotted you on my team yesterday playing Veneto. I figured you was doing a "Meet the" video. We ended up so completely trouncing the other team in that match, that I told my boy that there was no way that that match would be in your video haha. Red team got absolutely bulldozed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the most "powerful " secondaries in this line are on the tier 5. Not the best range but you get 4 of those 152s over the bow due to the layout of them, and then the 90 mms on the sides. These secondaries, God bless a carrier if it gets within their range, rip everything APART

A few thoughts on these Italian battleships. You need an aggressive team that's going to actually spot things for this ship to shine with a secondary focus. I use the smoke pretty early on to get into a position I wouldn't normally be able to in a battleship. IF you can get into the cap, or in a nice spot with cover between two caps... you are going to be really hard to dislodge. Your speed and agility make dodging torps much easier than in most BBs. I have one salvo'd destroyers with this build. Any more than 8km with these secondaries would be insanely overpowered. While it can be hard to get the kinda team you need for a good game, it's extremely fun when you do. Sure, you could boost the absolutely terrible dispersion/grouping... or you could boost the already amazing secondaries.

Haha! Definitely not my best showing! Those cities hurt! Yep, definitely hit the wrong button when I popped the exhaust. I was rocking the same build as yours (full secondary) w/a 7.9km range (my Haruna is 16/3). Definitely not impressed w/the ship yet but that was my first go on the V.V. Totally would've rammed ya and had the intention going in but decided at the last second that you were probably making a vid and I didn't want to be "that ass-hat". GG. To answer your RFI, been playing WoW:L since late Nov ’20 and have only played WoT on phone, not console. Pretty much only play this and have been on/ against your team quite a few times in that time. See you around!

The sap secondaries do a pretty good job at penning bbs 32mm armour so rip bbs with that armour all over. But with bbs like Bismarck, vlady and any that have good belt armour you’re only gonna get damage from the bow/stern and the superstructure

I’ve been doing fine with a hybrid build with littorio with mostly accuracy and more secondary range and I’ve been getting good games

Agree on the distance. Might be different if they reached out. Xarkun did a nice little experiment against the Brandenbergs secondaries. Comparing damage which was better than the Bergs but if you can’t reach out 11km, Bergs smoking you all day.

I run Brawler / Running with Scissors and the Main Battery Mod 3, reload of the main battery is 25.9 seconds if I am remembering right. I use the rolling smoke to get into main battery range which is only 15.1, I think, with my build.

Even on my Mass I still spec into dispersion. I think my sec are at 8.4km. I speced into sec for a while but for the same reason Spartan said I went back to dispersion. Even with 10+km sec in the mass, the range and dispersion hit you take nearly makes the ship usless unless ur within that 10km range. Sec have always felt like a gimmick if you don't have the Bismark or Brandenburg. But to be honest, the Bismark has poor RNG on its guns so the sec build is much more viable than on a ship like the Mass which has really good RNG(at max commander level). Same thing with the Brandenburg. Has baby guns at a high tier.....so the sec build on a Brandenburg it the only viable build on that ship(in my opinion).

Honestly My Mass is one of the few ships I go full secondaries on it still is pretty accurate and decent range

@Spartan Elite43 I guess the range isn't the big problem for me. It's just the dispersion that irritates me. On a bow in ship and then the dispersion looks like an early morning piss that somehow goes everywhere but the toilet. I will every now and then, for the lulz, hop in the Colorado with a sec build. I think I got mine out close to 8klm. Maybe 7.7 or something. But no one is expecting that range on sec from her so you can catch some DDs off guard and have a good laugh when sinking the YOLO boys.

Dont have veneto yet, but from playing tech tree line it is a very intresting line. I dont want to spoil anything but it is a fun tactical bb that has a big weakness but is dangerous if played right. I been playing the line as a hybird build but thinking about a concealment build.

Run brawler with concealment instead of gun modification and you are a beast Js. Let’s you get in close. The secondaries hit for over 1000 on bow in battleships. The smoke let’s you disengage.

What I find funny is how WG advertises this ship as having big guns despite them being 15” guns. Yamato has 18” guns and 16” guns at t7 is the norm.

this is like the bama/massa situation all over again, as to who to run dispersion, or tank builds on like the bama, roma i feel is the dispersion oriented ship after playing it myself. if you want to run littorio, do it on roma. there is no reason to run a tank build on it when it lacks 4 heals base, lacks SAP secondaries (which has fixed pen values like HE, albeit different for each calibre) and rolling smoke. now compare it to massa, VV is most certainly the tank/secondary build oriented ship between the two. it would make sense, for the reasons that it gets the 3 things roma doesn’t. being able to push in aggressively with rolling smoke (or disengage, to reposition), to push into effective secondary range, while having a lot of potential HP at your disposal (6 heals. let that sink in). what good is it to make use of SAP, the rolling smoke and the extra heal, since you get 4 base instead of 3 if you’re going to be sat further back sniping? i don’t understand

With my Colorado I run Sims with Cunningham and Madden for a full accuracy build. So if you don't have scharnhorst then run Cunningham and Madden

Going through this tech line I wanted to push the red button using full dispersion on Cavour and Andrea. They can't hit the broad side of a barn From the inside. With the t 6 I'm using hybrid. With litorio. Secondary With litorio And it's fun. I use 6 km sec. As defense.

Thw dispersion commander is better for dispersion and thw secondaries are long enough range to be worth it. Also eveyone agrees that roma is more accurate then littorio tier 7 bb specifically with accuracy commander.

HMS HOOD had a top speed of 32 kts while the Iowa class BBs were capable of 33 kts but Hood was also a Battlecruiser not classified a Battleship
