Truck looks and sounds the part ,you lost a half shaft crome cap just as/after you pulled out of the filling station ,check your vid from when the drives go past the metal cover over the damaged concrete as you pull onto the road.You did a good job fitting the later sliding 5th , hope you tidy the 5th frame up and paint it also ,keep it up and you will get there :-)

The more you drive the smoother you will get with shifting once you find it's sweet spot and feel from the slack in shifter it will fall right in gear after few hundred or so shifts what was the air leaking at the end
