Thank you Mr. Chouinard for your family's generosity and contribution to fighting climate change. I have a master's in environmental management and work as an environmental analyst for the biogas industry. Anaerobic digesters capture methane from food waste, animal manure, crop waste and wastewater biosolids to reduce GHG emissions and displace fossil fuels. They also keep divert waste from landfills and use it to create biogas. Anaerobic digesters recycle nutrients from various substrates into digestive and compost to re-invigorate soils. Hopefully, renewable natural gas can replace conventional natural gas to produce electricity and carbon-negative vehicle fuel.
