Hey we just went to our First Endo appointment last week. The MD was super nice and took her time with us. I’ve been so afraid to let my son eat any sweets , so it makes me so happy to see her enjoying her ice cream and be a kid! I love it! It gives me hope that my son can do this too! I’m starting to let him have sweets and just giving him insulin according to his carbs. I love that your doctor is ok with them being kids and having treats and cereals here and there! Thanks for sharing and making us feel included in your journey. Your family is teaching us so much! Thanks.

My endo is so good she is so encouraging and makes me feel good whatever so I go away wanting to keep going 😁 there is one endo that I have when my other one can’t have me and she is kinda awful she treats me like a baby and like I haven’t had type 1 for 4 years! She asks some questions like “so do you know what to do when you are low?” And I’m thinking well I’m alive now so.... but she is new to the job so 😅

We deal with alot of pricks in our life, we don't need another prick. That made me laugh out loud🤣🤣🤣🤣

My bby is 6 and dx T1D around the time she turned 4. We just saw our endo the other day and he's pretty chill. Old school TX and I'm cool with that, lol. He's supportive of our management and just leaves it open for us to tell him what we want to do. (I'm 🤞🏾for Omnipod Horizon release w/ approval for the kiddos.) Only concern I had was with his support staff early on but now that we're more solid on her care and rarely contact them it's not an issue. You're doing amazing and the froyo looked super-yum! Reminded me of our old boba tea outings. Tfs!! 😁💙

I almost finish my Endocrinologist class i am a doctor at NYU Grossman School of Medcine now about to finish HMX Endocrinologist tommorow i can't wait lol

That is an awesome a1c reading! Congrats Emma! Yes my daughter endo is very good, appointments are a bit rushed, but he tries his best, and he does not make us feel bad or stupid. Yes we stress and worry about the a1c number too. My daughter first endo was awful, then he retired, and we saw a couple of others that were curt/judgy...finally we got a winner! T1D is super difficult, wish more non-T1D realized that. Enjoy your videos lovely Dose Family, all the best in 2021!

Im so happy that u found a good Endo its really hard to come by and I wish others truly understood .Im happy that ur enjoying our videos . Also thank you for commenting it really gives me so much motivation to keep filming . I have a few things that I want to film for our channel .

I am always nervous when we go to the Endo, whom we really like. But I totally get what you mean. I always feel like we do a bad job and especially bc Sarah's A1C jumped up in 2020. We're at 8.2 and I was really disappointed, but not shocked. That said, we just started the T-slim. We're on Basal IQ until Mid April and then they will do the Control IQ update. Literally CANNOT WAIT! Regarding foods and carbs, we have always said.... "kid first, diabetes second".

I feel you when you go in to see the doctor. I get nervous about her A1c. So for her endo has been awesome. There’s times when I feel like I’m doing a bad job but her endo thinks I’m doing an amazing job.
