One of those guys said he has never met anyone from America. I guess, it's quite a norm for most Malaysian.

But in my case, I have had quite a few expatriates as my colleagues from my younger days of working experience. In ISIS Malaysia (a Malaysian think tank), I had two American colleague (besides two Japanese colleagues), one from Texas and another one from NYC. At two separate period, I had a American boss from the University of Hawaii. And I also had two American Dons from the Harvard University as my bosses. When I left ISIS to join KLCC 1st Phase Project, KLCC had many professional consultants, and I have had many colleagues from America and Europe. Those were my younger days, about 30 years ago, so much has changed.

Thanks for watching Yasin! Anecdotally I didn't run into many Americans while in KL. Only bumped into a couple American KZbinrs in an elevator haha

Just to let you know Raja is a royal family last names in Malaysian state of Perak. These family is related to the royal family of Perak if im not mistaken. Its not like they are close family members but everyone who are born in the same clan have that name inherited from the father side of the family. @@TedPatrickBaird
