Pokeys need tall pieces of cork bark so they can hide inside it and as they are arboreal it makes them feel safe, I can see the love and care you have with all of your animals, they are kept in such amazing homes!

Very nice collection but enclosures need to be bigger for some of the animals. I know its a constant challenge having an extensive collection ourselves. Space is always a challenge.

Love Frank! And the baby Short Tail(so cute!) I have a female Blood named Coco, who is nearly twice Frank’s size. She was a rescue with a sad back story, yet she has always been the sweetest girl ever. Huffy sometimes, but never ever a strike. What a collection! And, Dude, you are a lucky man. Your girl is a radiant gem!

A more apt name would be to translate there genus name (Lichanura), basic meaning stump tail, referring to the fact that Rosy Boas tails don't typically taper into a sharp point, but more of a short, blunt, rounded end, so Stump Tailed Boa would work as a common name, but they are to well known as Rosy Boas, so name change not likely.

As a snake handler & keeper I want to correct 2 things..if you're animal is in it's burrow DO NOT dig it up. 2. When your snake is in shed you shouldn't handle it..they're already defensive due to shed.you.grab it it may bite you..you will never build a friendship with cold blooded animals but they know routine.. If you handle it during shed the trust you my have had is broken

Also she can potentially get a license for her Tegu and/or re-home with others there in Florida who DO keep Tegus. I've seen those on other KZbin videos from Florida. Legit you honestly shouldn't have picked him up after handling some of your snakes. Now Idk if you wash after handling each animal, which you really should for the safety of them, and your self. But I always keep non latex gloves, no powder either next to my Pac-Man, not saying that is what you should do, just a small suggestion. So then you are not risking things.

Mhm definitely. Washing hands or at least using sanitizer is so so important for collections like this. All it takes is one of the animals to contract a super contagious, super deadly disease. Then bam, Half or more of your collection is gone.

Yeah I was waiting looking for a comment like this. I was definitely like 😬😬 on the first couple animals. I totally understand not having enough room, but also it's a good idea not to get any more animals until you sort out the ones you have. Having a bigger animal room would help, so you could have more room for bigger enclosures...

@@Emma-wi8ri yes yes and yes! I'm more of a bioactive person myself... Even though I don't like plastic plants I have a ton to go into my quarantine tanks. Enough where It is very difficult to see the animal sometimes, but it makes them feel secure and they learn to like me a lot faster. Sure it's a pain to sanitize, but what matters is the animals. Even my isopods get plenty put into their cultures...
