i can relate to you. i only became an atiny after their coachella performance this year. what hongjoong said made me feel a bit better. it hasn’t been long since i became an atiny, but i love their music and the members as well. they are becoming one of my favorite boy groups.

It took everything in me not to burst into tears at the table. I became an atiny during bouncy era but I was a casual listener for YEARS and hadn't even thought to look them up and see if I'd like them as a group. All of that time I could've spent with them, but I truly think that we find a group when we need it most and, personally, that couldn't be more true for me and ateez. I wasn't even planning on saying anything about it to hongjoong, but I just got really emotional and couldn't stop myself. I can't remember exactly what he said, but he really does know how later era fans feel, and he REALLY doesn't want us to feel guilty at all. He kept saying "I know I know and it's okay." he said they have so much left in store for us, and he's just happy we're here at all. I hope this can bring you some extra comfort. 🥹🤍

I was probably the most nervous for him (after san ofc) because he was last and I blanked and couldn’t remember what I had prepared to say to him, but we had the most genuine and natural conversation. He didn’t try to flirt with me or pull any lines(not that those are bad) and he just really felt like a close friend. It just felt like he genuinely wanted to learn about me and when we talked about citifield he absolutely lit up. He’s literally an angel. Definitely a great way to end the experience 🥹
