Aww you all are so adorable and sweet. Thank you for telling it like it was with such respect. I have a question- There are many versions of how Elvis felt before he passed, some said he was drugged up and depressed and some said he was content and looking forward to venturing into new projects. Can you please speak some truth and finally put rumors to rest 🙏🏻. Thank you. Always live/love Elvis ⚡️tcb⚡️

Yes please, and if you do, please address the financial pressure. We know Elvis had sold a huge asset and income stream in selling his recording royalties to pay the second divorce settlement. And he had a lot of employees, with Parker getting an unreasonably huge chunk of income off the top. Elvis appeared to be in poor health and tired, and many fans think he really couldn't take a break from touring because of financial concerns. Is that way off base? Love your videos; please keep them coming!

Thanks again guys, love your videos!! Question , Elvis is/was massive and adored here in the Uk, both my father and grandfather were fans( my dad was a big hit with the ladies back in the fifties and sixties, as he modeled his look on Elvis) do you think he had any real notion of the magnitude of love he had here in the UK? He is still filling arena's, we went to see the latest show at Londons o2. Xxx

Awww, I love y'all's necklaces that your great grandbaby made for y'all . They are beautiful !! Those grandbabies are so special aren't they ? Thanks for sharing the great stories !!! Y'all always make me laugh !! I could just see Joe sitting there when Elivs came in the room . Honey , I would have been the same way . I wouldn't have known what to say either . I'd chicken out . LOL....!! I wanted to ask a question . Danny , did your mama and daddy let you and Joey stay up late at night and listen to Elivs and all of his friends sing when he was at home ?
@MemphisMafiaKid6 жыл бұрын
+Bonnie Brown We did stay up late, all night when we were out of school. And yes, we did listen to him sing and were there when he recorded at Graceland.

Memphis Mafia Kid , I bet that was cool ?!! I remember sitting up half the night in our kitchen when I was growing up and listing to some of my family play the guitar and sing too ! That was so much fun , but of course...... we didn't have Elivs like y'all did . LOL !! We just had someone who would mostly sing George Jones song's . It still was fun though . Thanks for answering my question !!

Question Danny, I know you came along later in Elvis' life but did he ever speak with you about life things or about a young man growing up? Question for your dad, since you were younger than Elvis, did he do this with you also? He always seemed like he cared for people and knew when they hurt inside...
@marthahumphrey38492 жыл бұрын
I could be wrong but I would think Elvis was seldom around the kids much. If you research Elvis’s tours, he was gone a lot. Plus I think I read where Billy and Jo moved to Tupelo when Billy worked for the railroad.

Hey Danny, I'm continuing to love your videos. I have studied Elvis history for sometime from the perspective on many that were there but no one has the inside scoop like your Dad and your family. My question for Billy would be : towards the end you were the only one along with Jo that Elvis would allow around him . What was the reason for this and did it upset some of the other guys in the group ?

Does Billy remember what happened in August 1967 to cause the cancellation of Elvis's recording session in LA with Billy Strange? All the biography books say it was because Richard Davis ran over and killed a gardener so the Colonel got everyone out of state to Las Vegas. But newspaper records showed that incident with Richard Davies happened in March 1963 during Fun in Acapulco. So what happened in 67 to cause the sudden cancellation of the session?

Thank you for the videos. I just subscribed. I have a question for Billy Smith. What was his take on Larry Gellar? Larry was very close to Elvis for some years, and it seems to me that he was not very liked by the other Memphis mafia members. Priscilla wrote about that in her book where she said that the other memphis mafia members were jealous at Larry and kind of bullied him. Is that true?
