Every time I see your videos with locals I smile! The guy at 7:40 cracked me up 😂. For context, he was suggesting tishreeb (stew and meat with pita to be eaten with hands), dijaj (chicken), simech (fish), pacha (head of cow/lamb), he proceeded to say we put it murgah (stew). Love how he grabbed you close and was like "walk with me to the city, we will eat!"

when you were talking about the rings, at 20:20 they said it was 'asli' - means original or genuine (i.e by good or bad I think they meant real gem stones vs imitation), they didn't say much in arabic (and I don't know anything about gem stones and jewelry anyway) but seemed after that they were pointing to the properties of such gem stones. the one you picked up is Indian citrine.

Did you by chance ever get to try their juice? I remember my favorite drinks they would offer was some sort of canned juice and at the bottom of the can was a real piece of fruit. Very good.
